MORE DOGS REHOMED>>>>>>>

Tala - Notts

tala gsd

This truly stunning girl is 6 years old Tala who is spayed and up to date with her vaccinations and she is micro-chipped.  Although she currently lives with a family with a young child it would be best to re-home her with a family with older, experienced children; lives with a cat but can be domineering and slightly aggressive towards other dogs and needs to be kept on a lead near livestock.  Will bark at strangers who visit the house, travels well and is not toy or food aggressive.  The current owner truly adores Tala but appreciates she needs time and further mental stimulation than she is currently getting; an adorable girl who needs a home.

Bobby - absolute stunner

Bobby is just a year old, black and tan short coat.  Entire, not microchipped, vaccinated and booster due April 11. Poor Bobby has lived outside since he was 6 months old with no shelter, so house training is probably on the agenda.  Has not lived with cats and not cat tested, will chase squirrels. Strong on lead, basic command - will do sit. Considering this boy has not lived with other dogs he is sociable with people and dogs. Has lived with a young child of 10 years of age.  A cracking dog for some lucky person. More about Bobby the young German Shepherd

Bew - Essex

bew gsd

This gorgeous young lady is 2 years unspayed Bew. She is good with children 2 upwards, dogs and cats. She can be a little nervous when meeting strangers but has never shown any aggression. She is fairly obedient on and off the lead although she will pull initially. Being rehomed due to a marriage breakup and her owner having to work away from home.

Sam - East Sussex

sam gsd puppy

Sam is a 5-month entire boy. He has been living with a 4-year-old child but doesn’t understand that the child is not a playmate. This gorgeous young boy just needs some normal training and guidance. Fine with other dogs and will be easy to integrate into any home.

Jerry - Bucks

jerry gsd

Jerry is an unruly 15-month adolescent who has been testing his dominance on family and visitors.  He has been allowed to get away with too much and needs an experienced family where he will be taught his manners.  He bit a visitor who tried to take his food bowl away and can appear aggressive with strangers but once you get to know him he is very affectionate.  He is being rehomed because the family are at work all day.  He is currently unneutered and his behaviour would probably benefit greatly once this has been done.

Izzie- Essex

Izzy gsd urgently needs a home

Izzy is a 9-year unspayed bitch. She is vaccinated and microchipped. Izzy is good with children of all ages and cats but can be nervous of other dogs. Izzy is good on the lead and in healthy condition. This poor girl is being rehomed as a result of a relationship break up and is now being left for up to 12 hours a day on her own. Please, can you give her a home?

Sherry

sherry white german shepherd

This lady has been with us about a week, she came in from the pound she was on her last day. How anyone can loose a beautiful girl like Sherry. We know little about her, except that when collected from the kennels she was scared and hid at the rear of her kennel. But once our volunteer got her out and into her car she settled. She was scared on her first few days of being with us but seems to be settling into a routine. She has shown no signs of aggression although still a little nervous, which can be expected as she has no idea of what is happening to her. We have no idea of age poss. from 2 - 4 yrs no more. She is clean in her kennel and waits till walk time to go to the toilet.

Shadow

zorro black gsd

Shadow came to us from the pound he was about to be PTS as his time was up. Since being in our care, he has been neutered, he is very friendly. Shadow did find himself in a new family home but unfortunately, he has shown some issues with other dogs. This we feel if homed to someone with GSD experience could be corrected. His new owners are upset to let him go but they say he is just too much for them to handle. Shadow we believe to be around 16 months old. He is now in Kennels once again in Harrogate. Can someone give this boy a home in time for Christmas?

Marcus

marcus gsd

Marcus is a 4 yr old entire male. He has had a rough life, first living on a long boat with his owner he was then given away to a chap to guard a scrap yard Marcus then lived in an old car this was his home till he was brought to us. We did re-home Marcus but the lady found him difficult to handle he did not care for other dogs and pulled on the lead to get to them. He was brought back and taken to one of our volunteers for some training. This is part of what he told us. Marcus is good both on and off the lead with commands of Heel, sit, stay, leave and his recall is very good. He loves the car. He is better with bitches than males, he is fine with cats and children. Grooming is his biggest issue he just doesn't like it and will tell you. Marcus is a long coat so the grooming is an issue. Marcus is now in our kennels in Harrogate waiting for the right person to take him home.

Mia

mia gsd

Mia is a lady that came to us from the pound, she had more than done her time. Someone handed Mia into the pound saying that they had found her (maybe). All we know is that she is now safe with us and she was taken to our kennels in York this week. The volunteer that picked Mia up said that she travelled well and was a very nice girl. We are not sure of her years, she does look around 7 years but I am told that she has plenty of energy. She has settled into the kennels and the other dogs do not seem to bother her. We do not know if she is spayed so who ever is lucky to adopt this lady will have to wait and see. I am sure that there will be someone who will find a place in their heart and home for Mia.
