Breeze 4 SW
Breeze - Lovely, responsive 4-year-old spayed bitch. Oozes affection, loves to play however her only vice is that she possessive over her toys and won't give back - but shows no aggression. Does not seem to be over friendly towards other dogs although she would probably be OK with a laid-back male dog. This could be overcome with correct handling and socialisation. Needs confident owner who can give her time and who can socialise her. Gluten free diet.
Cassie 3 - will be homeless beginning November
Cassie is a pretty 3-year-old, black and tan, long-haired, entire female. She is looking for a new home due to a relationship breakdown and her owner having to relocate. Cassie has been brought up with children of varied ages and is good with other dogs, she currently lives with a westie. Cassie is left long periods and is not destructive, she will sit and lay but still pulls on her lead.
Kai - NW
Kai is an 8-year-old, black and tan, short haired, spayed bitch. She is friendly with people in the home but has not had much contact with children. Kai has lived with 3 cats and actually used to sleep with one of them, but she will bark at other cats outside the home. Kai used to mix with other dogs but developed an issue with a neighbours staffie and now is aggressive towards all other dogs. She is kept on the lead when walked as she can be intimidating to other dogs and can be protective. She is being rehomed as her owners are moving to New Zealand in September 2008.
Seth - central
This beautiful big boy is now safe with us. He was another dog that faced death in the dog pound because he guarded his kennel. A nice boy about 5 years old that needs a nice forever home.
Max 2 years
Poor Max has lived in a very stressful home that caused him great anxiety leading to him chasing and chewing his tail which now has no hair on it. He has ended up in kennels which are not good for a dog like Max so he is urgently looking for a home. He loves people and has lived with kids and other dogs. He needs a home where they have lots of time for him where they can help him over his anxieties and prevent him chasing his tail.
Sheeba - NE
Sheeba is a lovely 4-year old dog with a lovely temperament. The owner has had her since she was 7 months old, he rescued her from her previous home where she was tied up outside. She is very friendly and affectionate but very boisterous as she is being left by the present owner who lost his partner last year and is working long hours so Sheeba is not getting the exercise she needs. She is good on the lead but needs some training on the recall. A bit wary of dogs when out as she has been attacked twice by other dogs.
JD 1 year
JD is a young entire male that has had little training. He is totally bored in kennels and is getting frustrated at being shut up all day. He will need an experienced home without young children where they will have lots of time for him to train and socialise him.
Boro 6. Will be PTS 30th September - SAVED
Baro is a 6-year-old, black and tan, short haired, entire male. He has lived in a kennel and been used as a security dog since he was 3 years old. He is trained in obedience and searching for property and persons. He has had regular one to one training. Baro can be quite nervous of strangers but he is not aggressive towards them. Baro has not been around children or cats, but he is fine with dogs that he knows. He is being rehomed as the security company are no longer using dogs from the 30th September and if not rehomed by that date he will be pts. Baro will need an experienced home.
Max 8 years. Will be PTS 30th September - SAVED
Max is an 8-year-old, black and tan, short haired, entire male. He has lived in a kennel and been used as a security dog since he was 18 months old having been rejected by the army. He is trained in obedience and searching for property and persons. He has had regular one to one training. Max will show aggression to strangers but is very friendly when he gets to know people. Max has not been around children and is not good with other dogs or cats. He is being rehomed as the security company are no longer using dogs from the 30th September and if not rehomed by that date he will be pts. Max will need an experienced home.
Storm and King
King is a 7-year-old, black and tan, short haired, neutered, male. Storm is his 5-year-old, black and tan, semi long haired, spayed companion. They are gentle, warm, affectionate dogs, who are both good with other dogs, cats and children. King and Storm are lovely dogs who are currently in foster care - they need a permanent home together as soon as possible.
