Hope - we were her last hope!
This girl has come to us as she has done her time in the pound. She is a lovely gorgeous girl, she is very underweight and we are gradually trying to build her up. She is a middle aged girl and small for a shepherd although she looks very shepherd like she is only the size of a collie. We do not know much more about her at the moment but she is an adorable little thing.
Kay - Birmingham
This delightful and friendly girl is 8 years old Kay who has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date on her vaccinations. She was fine when our assessor met her but was a little camera shy. Although there is a regular child visitor to the home, Kay will not interact with the child, therefore, it is recommended that she homed with older children with GSD experience. However, she currently lives with a Jack Russell Terrier and loves to play with other dogs when out. Travels well but is not keen to be put in a crate. Kay's owner is finding it difficult to look after her and manage her family commitments. A truly adorable companion for an active and loving family.
Katie - Birmingham
This totally chilled out girl is 4 years old Katie. She is vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. She is used to children who visit the home but would be best placed with older ones 10+, she currently lives with other dogs but will bark at others when out for a walk, but she is not aggressive. When our assessor arrived at the home, Katie barked at the door, had a sniff and enjoyed a fuss and then lay down, she's used to a quiet life and she is not excitable and will not jump around like many dogs her age; a very laid back dog. Unfortunately, due to ill health, the owners need to re-home urgently. She is a delightful calm girl who will make a fabulous companion.
Murphy - Lincs
This lovely boy is 7-year-old Murphy a B&T short coat who is up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped and is entire. Our assessor found him to be a friendly dog but has the tendency to be a little on the boisterous side; therefore it is recommended he is not re-homed with younger children. He would also need to be rehomed as an only dog and definitely no cats. He loves playing with his football but can be a little possessive towards it. He will pull on the lead but this can be remedied with training or a halti. Murphy is a much-loved pet but due to the current owners working pattern, he feels it is not fair on this beautiful boy to be left for such a long time. More pictures of Murphy
Yogi - Lincs
This big fluffy boy is 3 years old Yogi who is entire and vaccinated. He is playful with children but due to his size would be best placed with older ones, is also good with dogs but unknown with cats. When our assessor met Yogi, he went up to her for a sniff and then sat by her side to enjoy a stroke. Yogi will suit an active family who can provide his with the exercise and the stimulation he deserves.
Harvey - Birmingham
This is 1 year old Harvey, an entire male who is up to date on his vaccinations and is fully house trained. He is good with children and other dogs but is unknown with cats but definitely chases squirrels! Although he was very friendly with our assessor he did become a little boisterous and tried to mouth at her arm (in a playful manner) because of this she believes he desperately needs a firm, experienced owner who would provide him with the training and stimulation he requires. All in all, Harvey is a beautiful and friendly dog who would make an ideal companion to an active household; preferably with teenagers due to his over exuberance.
Alfie - Manchester
Alfie is a GSD x collie 3yrs neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Alfie is a very intelligent active dog who could live with older children, loves other dogs and is good with cats. He loves people, has his basic training but needs bringing on travels well but needs cage or seatbelt as he cannot sit still for long! Alfie needs a home where someone is around most of the time as he doesn't like being left for long periods although having a new friend in his home will help this. Alfie will thrive in a home that will further his training especially in agility or higher obedience to keep his very clever brain busy; a lovely dog will be a super pet.
Belle - Stoke on Trent
Belle is 2yrs and is a lovely quiet girl indoors, who is happy to be left and loves travelling. Belle hasn't had the socialisation and training she should have had so can be unsure of new people and surroundings. However, in an experienced home with further training, she will blossom into a wonderful dog. She could live with teenagers but not young children, possibly another male calm dog but not cats. Belle needs someone who is willing to put the time in to bring her confidence up are you able to give this very pretty girl her second chance?
Alfie - Cheshire
Alfie is 4yrs neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Alfie is good with children, is living with a cat and another female GSD but can be selective with smaller dogs. Alfie is very friendly, loves his walks and as you can see swimming is his favourite thing! He can be a little boisterous but is not currently getting enough exercise or attention so with a little time and a reminder of training and he will be a super dog. Alfie would like an active family with or without a friend and plenty of walks near water!
Diesel - West Brom
This utterly gorgeous dog is big boy Diesel who is 4 years old. He has been neutered and microchipped but is not up to date on his vaccinations. Our assessor found him to be a very friendly and loving dog. He currently lives with children 5+ and is very comfortable with them, he also lives with another GSD but is unknown with cats. Diesel does need further lead training as he does get excitable when on a walk and will pull but once he has enjoyed a run off lead he will calm down. His family sadly are unable to keep him due to health issues; he will make a fabulous addition to any family who will provide him with the exercise and stimulation this big beautiful boy will enjoy.
