MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Mable - Nottinghamshire
This lovely young lady is Mable. Mable is 12 months old, not spayed, fully vacs and microchipped. When our volunteer met Mable she was greeted with a waggy tail and a few licks. At present Mable lives with 2 other smaller dogs but is now starting to feel her feet and at times has started to dominate them which is causing a few problems. She finds cats very stressful so a home without would be better. She currently lives with a 2yo child who she has been fine with but because of her boisterous behaviour, a home with teenagers would suit better. She will need an experienced home to overcome some of the anxiety she has picked up and to steer her in the right direction with her training, and in return, someone will have a super little girl.
Glyn
Meet Glyn, the dog with a big smile. He is an entire male another from the pound. This lad is around 3-4 very sociable has been walked with another GSD male and no worries. Good in the kennels we are hoping he won't be there too long as he is such a nice lad deserves a home of his own.
Carla - Nuneaton
This beautiful girl is Carla with the very waggy tail, who is roughly 10-11 mths old. She was found as a stray on Christmas Eve so not much is known about her. She is currently in kennels, is a lively and rather boisterous young dog, although very vocal there is no malice in her and she constantly seeks attention. She will sit for a treat; eager to please. She needs a family preferably with much older, experienced teenagers who will give her the time to train, socialise and exercise her, in return, they will have a loving dog. Will you give Carla a chance?
Willow - Corby
This totally gorgeous little girl is 8 mth old Willow, she is fully vaccinated but not yet spayed due to her age. She is a typical pup, not aggressive in any way but can be a little boisterous around children so it would be advisable to rehome with older children, she is fine with other dogs and cats. She is a young pup who will need further training but the return will be a fabulous and loving young dog who will make a great addition to an active family.
Teddy - Kent
Teddy is a gorgeous 4yr old neutered boy who unfortunately is having to be rehomed due to the owner moving into rented accommodation. He is good with children including babies and when visitors arrive he is gentle and docile. He currently lives outside but will readily adapt to living in a home. Teddy is a wonderful, big, sweet GSD who has lived with other dogs with no problems.
Coco- East Sussex
Coco is a 6-year-old spayed bitch. Very friendly with people, other dogs and cats. Currently living with her dad Charlie. Does need some one to one training though as she has not been taught any commands, however, she does know her name and her recall is good. Currently, her coat is in a bad condition where she has scratched, probably due to the stress of a very messy marriage break up over Christmas. Needs some tender loving care.
Zack - Herts
This lovely lad is Zack, a 5 year entire long haired male. Good with older children but unknown with younger children. Zack is good with other dogs and cats. He is a very friendly lad although pulls on the lead to start but this is probably due to the fact he is not getting much exercise at the moment. This is why he is being rehomed, as his owner is unable to walk him enough. Zack will probably fit into most family environments and just needs someone who has the time to exercise and care for him.
Frank - Gloucestershire
Frank is an entire 16-month-old white GSD. This young lad is very overweight due to his current owner’s lack of time for him, and hence why he is being rehomed. He is not used to being on a lead so will be a great project for someone who has the time. Frank has a super temperament and lives with a 2-year-old climbing all over him, 2 small toy breeds and 3 cats. How can you resist this cuddly teddy bear?
Tia - York
This lady came to us before Christmas she was in a pound and they asked us to help. We sent a volunteer to collect this girl, she was very scared she still is.She could do with getting out of kennels. We have no history on her have no idea if she is spayed we are guessing she is around 4 yrs but it is a guess. She attached herself to the male volunteer and travelled well in the car. Once at the kennels she didn't want the volunteer to go without her. She is coming along still nervous although the staff say she is much better and is fine with them. We are not sure what she is like with other dogs as she does bark at them but in a kennel environment, this is not easy to assess. Please if you have space and think you could give time and patience I think Tia will be a wonderful dog.
Phoebe - Cleveland
Phoebe is 2yrs old she is spayed she is good with children, dogs and cats. she presently lives with another GSD. She pulls a bit on the lead her recall is good. This is what volunteer had to say.: She is a typical bouncy, exuberant youngster.what a lovely girl. She was very welcoming with me and was happy to let me touch her all over and rub her tummy. She does jump up and I showed the owner how to stop it and the dog did stop straight away. Phoebe is the sort of dog who could be rehomed to most people, she loves and plays with kids and dogs alike and really is fab. She's also very pretty and she's quite big for a bitch. She is quite good at sitting for a treat and took them very gently from me. Really nice dog. Walked her alongside Polly (my dog) and although she was a bit in Polly's face she just wanted to play and she obviously loves all dogs.
Shea and Tash
These 2 girls have to be kept together they have been together all their lives. The reason for parting marriage break up, owner parting very reluctantly. The girls are living with a friend and owner goes and walks them, but he feels this is not right for the girls. Both are fit and well although Taz the younger (darker of the 2) has a sensitive tummy so needs to be kept on the food she is currently on and NO tit bits. They are house clean as have been on holidays with the owner. They are both spayed and vaccinated. This is what volunteer had to say about them.the 2 girls were curled up in the garden as we approached the gate they gave a few cursory wuffs then allowed us through the gate both girls came to us for a fuss the youngest insisted she was fussed where as the oldest was a little more traditional GSD and sort of " put up " with the fussing they are gorgeous looking girls ( one is truly a picture) they are fabulously well behaved we went for a walk with the owner who held them on a piece of rope each he let them off on the field their recall was first class and they never bothered with people, dogs, or balls we walked back to the house with no leads ( would you believe) and they never left our sides. both will do all commands at once but are not nervously done they are done to please in fact a credit to their owner. they were a real joy
Bodger - Cornwall
Bodger is a beautiful 6 yr old neutered boy who thru no fault of his own has had at least 6 homes already. His previous owner rescued him from a disreputable lady, who buys and sells dogs, and kept him for a month before asking GSDR to take him. Bodger’s foster mum cannot understand why his previous homes have let him go as he is such a good-natured, respectful dog and very easy to manage. He has a good knowledge of basic commands and has adapted himself well to his foster home, living with two other dogs. He is not aggressive and not food or toy possessive. He loves to be brushed and handled and will come up to you and ask for a fuss, (as much as you want to give him). He is a handsome looking boy, in very good condition with plenty of energy and loves to play with toys. He needs some further lead training because he pulls but not excessively and ignores other dogs and strangers out on walks. He does bark at strangers coming to the home but it is excitement, not aggression, which just needs boundary rules put in place. Because of Bodger’s respectful nature, his foster mum thinks he could be introduced carefully to a home with a cat. He will make a wonderful companion or family dog, with children who are sensible with dogs.
Tessa - West Sussex
Tessa is a 3yr unspayed bitch who has lived with a Jack Russell and maleGSDss in foster care but needs to be the only dog in her new home. She cannot live with children or cats. Tessa travels well but can be noisy, Tessa can get very anxious so needs a quiet home as when she is stressed she loses her hair, which she is on medication for. She needs very slow introductions to strangers and new places but will be very loyal to her owner once she has settled in. She has a good level of obedience and walks well on the lead. Tessa needs someone who is going to give her the time and patience she deserves who will then be rewarded with a very loving dog.
Barack and Diva - London
These 2 lovely GSD crosses must be rehomed together. They are both 18 month s old. Barack is neutered and Diva is spayed. They are both good with other dogs and children but will chase cats and foxes! These dogs are friendly and loving and very well behaved but can pull a bit on the lead. Both are microchipped and up to date with their vaccinations. Just need a loving home where they will get lots of exercise. Their owner is working long hours which isn’t fair on them.
Marley - Manchester
Marley is 9 months neutered micro chipped and vaccinated. Marley is a gorgeous boy with a fantastic temperament who is full of energy is good with children and other dogs but does chase cats. He loves meeting people, is crate trained, travels well and is house trained. Marley has basic commands but obviously given his age further training will be needed and plenty of exercise so an active house a must.
