MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Missie - Nuneaton
This pretty little girl is 4-year-old Missy a white GSD x Husky; an entire bitch who is not up to date on her vaccinations. A timid little girl to begin with but after a while, our assessor could stroke her and she accepted his presence. She has grown up with children 0+ and it was noted how gentle she was with them when they entered the room. She is now in foster and lives with a male dog but she will definitely not suit living with another bitch, is unknown with cats and livestock. She is housetrained, her fosterer says she's a delight in the car just likes to look out of the window and she can be left alone for a couple of hours. She's a happy and affectionate little dog who loves nothing better than to give kisses. When out on walks will not bother other dogs and is doing extremely well with further training - a responsive little girl. Will suit a family home with children of all ages but as an only dog or with a male.
Zac - Nuneaton
This adorable young chap is 2 yr old Zac. He's fully vaccinated and neutered; a black and tan soft coated and rather a small GSD. He currently lives with a family but it advised he is rehomed in a home with older children who have GSD experience. When our assessor arrived at the house she was greeted with a lot of barking but eventually calmed down and realised he would get a lot of fuss which he certainly enjoyed. Zac will require further socialisation and training and will definitely make a fabulous dog and will certainly enjoy and benefit from great walks.
Zeus - Notts
This handsome young man is Zeus. He is a 2yo entire male, fully vacs and chipped. He has a nature to die for and is at present in foster with about 12 other dogs and loving it! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he is so sweet, we cannot see any problems. First, to see will fall madly in love with him and live happily ever after in their forever home.
Dee - Sheffield
Dee is a poor little soul at the moment. He's been in rescue for approaching 6 months and is struggling with nerves and anxiety, meaning that he is scared of being approached. Did live with other dogs in his previous home, but didn't get on with the dog he shared with, in the foster home. Dee is neutered but not vaccinated and he's scared of small children. Dee needs someone calm and gently assertive to direct his life and to devote himself to. He is with Helping Hands Rescue in Sheffield– contact them on 0114 248 4754 or 07949 404183
Cody - Kent
Cody is a 15 month neutered male. He has lived with young children but would be better with older children due to his age and energy. He currently lives with a Labrador and 2 terriers but has started trying to dominate the Labrador bitch so is having to be rehomed. This young boy was taken in a few months ago by a family when their friend could not keep him. He is wary of people especially men but has been fine with other dogs when out of the home. Cody is a young man that needs someone to give him the training and exercise a dog of this age needs, so he understands his boundaries.
Sonny - Southampton
Sonny is a beautiful 3yr old Entire boy who unfortunately is being rehomed as the owner is unable to give him the attention he needs. He loves playing with other dogs but will chase cats given the opportunity. He has lived with children but does get nervous when they are running around. He has also lived with a Great Dane for a short while with no problems. Sonny does have food aggression, but in a way that can be retrained, he stands over his food not wanting the bowl to be taken away. He is a lovely obedient well mannered placid dog who just needs a calm home to live in
Sam - Yarm
Sam is an unspayed bitch she is 14ths old.She is black & Tan semi coated she lives with 2 other dogs but unfortunately she is not getting along with one of them this is the reason she is being re homed. Sam gets on with all other dogs that she meets just seems to not gel with her house mate. She is fine with children we would say older as she is still young and boisterous. She is fine in the house she does pull on the lead so owner uses a Halti. The volunteer said that Sam was very friendly when is arrived at the house Sam showed no signs of aggression or fear, doesn't appear to have any issues other than not getting along with the owners' other dog a Yorkshire Terrier, but gets on with the other YT. Volunteer says she is a very friendly dog if he had been able would have happily taken her home.
Gypsy
Here we have little Gypsy, she is now 21 months old. Little Gypsy has had a hard start in life, coming to the rescue her coat matted and smelling really badly and weighing only 19 kg. After a lot of TLC, she cleaned up very nicely, having been in foster care for three months now she has come on leaps and bounds, but still needs to put on more weight. Although Gypsy is full of beans and always ready to play, she can still revert to the scared little dog that she was and this can result in her urinating out of fear or even excitement? She is entire (not spayed) She gets on very well with fosters' two GSD's dogs, but will chase cats.
Lennox - Harrogate
Lennox is an 8mth old german shepherd cross, fully vaccinated, neutered, wormed and fleaed. Lennox came to us on Xmas eve having being abandoned at a vet. He was extremely nervous of people at first and wet himself when he met new people. He soon responded to kindness and loves being with other dogs. Lennox is very affectionate when you gain his trust. He is living in the house with us at the moment and is doing really well. He gets on with cats although he is still a bit scared of them. He loves to play ball and is very good at basic commands ie sit, stay and paw.Lennox will wait patiently for his ball and will not take it unless you say he can. He will make a very good dog for the right people who will continue with his training as he still young. He would be better in a house with older children as he still quite nervous and would be scared if there was a lot of noise.
Belle - Harrogate
Belle is a young German Shepherd about 2 yrs who came to us from the dog pound. Bell was very thin and very scared, she is a gentle dog and very affectionate when she knows you. She is friendly with other dogs and is not interested in cats.Bell is in our kennels in Harrogate.
Buddy
Buddy was found wondering in a garden he had a large chain & padlock around his neck. Since being in rescue care he was take to vets and we have been told that someone has filed his teeth down Words fail us, this dog is such a gentle soul. Fosterer says: After having Buddy for over a week now, I can report that he his a very friendly, calm boy. He his excellent with other dogs as he his living with 2 German Shepherds. HE is very strong and tends to pull on the lead, but after ten minutes he calms down and walks quite well. Does not bark at people coming into the house. Will need lots of time with basic training, this is one area where i feel he needs work, he is picking it up quite well. Has good recall (with treats). I honestly think Buddy needs to go to his forever home where he his the only dog. He would benefit from the one 2 one which he needs. We think he is going to be a wonderful dog with the right environment & owner. His age is 5/6 not up to date with vaccinations. he is chipped, been to vets for health check & has no underlying problems. not been castrated.
