MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Sophie - Nuneaton
Poor little scared Sophie really does need a lovely new family to take her under their wing and give her the confidence she so needs to enable her to face the big world and all that's in it. She is a really sweet little girl of around 2yrs fully vacs and chipped. She has been no trouble in her foster home but was petrified in kennels, bless her. She seems no trouble with other dogs, not known with cats or kids but has such a kind nature I can't see any problems. That special person must be out there.....come on, show yourself.
PLEASE DO NOT RING ABOUT ANY OF THE DOGS IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN HOME CHECKED.
Sam - Stockport
Sam is 2yrs neutered and vaccinated. Sam is a typical teenager with lots of energy! He is currently not getting enough exercise or attention so is very excitable and needs further training on the lead as he is a very strong lad. Sam needs someone with experience who is going to put the time in for training he would thrive doing obedience or agility. He is very good with strangers, can be left and doesn't chew, travels well but cannot live with cats and older children only due to his energy levels! He gets on with other dogs but can be too boisterous with small ones especially at the moment with his lack of exercise, however, he could live with a female who will either teach him some manners or enjoy a good game of chase!
Zeus - Catterick
Zeus is 5yrs entire good with older children, needs help with socialising although plays with other GSD's and cannot live with cats. Zeus has lived with a female but is selective with other male dogs. He has good basic training is very calm in the house greets strangers well, however, due to being moved he has developed separation anxiety which has come on due to stress, he also panics in the car so a crate will be needed. Both of these will improve greatly when he is settled in a loving home. Zeus just wants a cuddle and to keep your feet warm!
Zimba
This pretty girl is Zimba, she is 2 yrs old and only being rehomed as her owner passed away. Zimba is fully vaccinated and spayed, Zimba is a very friendly young girl and loves children of all ages, other dogs and even cats. She is Black and Tan long coated, Zimba travels very well in a car, she has no aggression in her what so ever, she loves walking so would be a great addition to an active family.
Bruce - Caerphilly
This stunning boy is the lovely Bruce, who is a 3 yr old semi coated white shepherd. When our assessor went to meet him he barked at first but soon settled, she said that he was a friendly boy who welcomed her very well into his home. However, his owner did express that Bruce does have a couple of issues which with an experienced owner and boundaries would soon be sorted. He is fine with children he knows but is nervous of boys but his owner has said that it could be to do with something that happened in his previous home, so, for this reason, we would prefer a home with no children. Bruce is fine with other dogs, lives with cats and 5 free range rabbits and is fine with them also. Bruce's issues are that he is nervous of new people (although our assessor did not see any evidence of this issue) in her words Bruce is a stunning dog who with the right owner and his nervousness handled he will make a great addition and companion as he loves a fuss.
Zapher
Zapher is 6 yrs old full male fully vaccinated until the end of May and Kennel Cough also microchipped. He has been in the kennels for nearly 2 yrs as the owner has been in the hospital. He is a lovely friendly boy who loves people and walks great on the lead. Likes other dogs as he lived with a male Weimaraner. Not sure what he is like with cats.
Tess - Lincs
This is beautiful Tess, who is 6 years old and was born on Valentines Day 2004. A short coated B&T who is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped but not spayed. She is good with children 8+, is house trained and travels well. She is currently living with one of our fosterers who has kindly written the following: Tess is the most adorable girl and is very receptive to a fuss and strokes; she is very obedient, has good recall and will even give you a "high 5"!!! She loves her food and running after her ball, she is currently living with 2 other dogs and is ok with them but will bark at other dogs when out if they bark at her first. She does not like cats or horses. Is good on the lead. Altogether a really gorgeous girl who needs a forever home soon.
Heidi - Nuneaton
This truly stunning girl is 3 years old Heidi who is very loyal and loving. She is in desperate need of a forever home and would benefit from living with a steady male dog. She is very playful, walks well on the lead and has excellent recall; when off-lead she completely ignores everyone/thing around her. She is protective of the home and will bark at strangers so will need a firm handler who will take control. Not food or toy aggressive. She would suit a home with older children and definitely no cats. Heidi needs a home now – can you help her?
JJ- Nuneaton
This poor boy is JJ, who is about 3-4 years old, he's champagne, long coat and in need of a good groom. He was sadly kept outside tied to a stable along with another dog and thankfully we were able to rescue him just before Christmas. Although he has settled in well in kennels he deserves a good home, he's a quiet boy who has not shown any interest in the other dogs there and was very curious when he saw the horses in the paddocks, just stood and stared! Could you give this poor boy a home he so deserves?
Duke- Herts
Duke is a 3 year neutered male. He is a big dog and a little nervy with new people but loves attention and play. Used to living with young children. He came into foster with Tasha through no fault of his own. He has ignored foster mum’s horses. This super young man would benefit from some training as this has obviously not been high on the agenda in his old home.
Rosie - Harrogate
Rosie who we collected today. She is 7 years old and very affectionate, she is fine with other dogs and is very friendly with another little terrier we rescued at the same time She came into our home and met our dogs and cats. She is cat-friendly and is just adorable. She was matted and in need of a good groom. I spent 3 hours on her today and cut her nails which were exceptionally long. She was really good for me and did not seem to mind at all. She will make a gorgeous girl for someone. She was chipped but the owner was contacted and was not prepared to pay the fees !!!Another gorgeous GSD
Richie
Another that came to us his time was up, we got him out just in time he came out with Marvin who was not good on his legs we found him a lovely home. So we are now looking for the lucky family who will take Richie into their hearts. Richie is around 5 - 6 yrs he is entire and a big softie. He did go out for a very short time but the family had another dog. Richie travelled back and the first day was fine with the dog, I think he then was trying to see if he could be top of the tree, so he went back to kennels. He was fine with the children, was clean in the house. So come on he must fit into someone's home Please visit the kennels and meet Richie I am sure he will make a lovely companion once he is should the way.
Buddy - Harrogate
Buddy is around 2 yrs of age came to us from the pound. He did find a home but unfortunately, the couple found they were expecting a baby and didn't want Buddy. This poor lad has been passed around and needs a stable home. He is at the moment in foster but that can only be until 20th Jan. as they are off to Spain. This family took Buddy in as we were given a deadline to remove Buddy and it was Christmas time. Since going into foster we have found that Buddy needs to learn some manners. He is fine in the home clean and not destructive. When out has lunged at a jogger, he was reprimanded and was fine. Buddy needs a home with grown ups and people that have had experience with the breed to show Buddy the rules once he has learnt he will make a great companion. He is in the Harrogate area.
