MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Diesel - Lincolnshire. MORE DETAILS
This big bouncy boy is 4-year-old Diesel who is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a short coated black and tan with an unusual foxy look to his coat and tail. He is currently living in foster with another dog and a bitch after a year of being stray and living in kennels. Diesel is good with older children and other dogs but is unknown with cats. He is okay when left alone if put in a crate with a Kong or bone, but can scratch at doors etc. if not crated. He loves to play fetch and tug games and he loves to tear around the countryside at 100mph with the biggest stick/fallen tree he can get his paws on! Diesel is a strong minded boy who needs a firm and experienced owner that is not intimidated by his energy and confidence. If you give him an inch, he'll take a mile so he needs really clear boundaries. His recall off lead is great and he will walk nicely on a K9 Bridle (like a Halti) or even a regular collar and lead if he's already burned off some energy. Diesel would really benefit from owners who are going to spend time on continuing his training and giving him something to do wth all his energy and strength. He would suit a single person, or couple, or even a family with older children but is probably too boisterous to live with youngsters. Although he gets on fine with other dogs he would also thrive on the attention and time he would get as an only dog. He's got a lot to offer to the right person and if you're looking for an energetic sporty companion for long romps in the country, endless games of fetch or some serious training then this could be the perfect dog for you. Prince
This handsome boy is 5 yr old, entire male, Prince. Never vaccinated, wormed or de-flead, Prince has never left the farm he is on since he arrived 5 yrs ago as a puppy. He is never lead walked, but just wanders around the field all day. He sleeps outside, is clean in his kennel, so housetraining wouldn't be a problem. He has never been in a car. Cats a definite no. Prince is very playful, fetching sticks the whole time the volunteer was there. Loves the hosepipe! He ignores strangers. Took treats gently from the volunteer, but bit fussy! Prince is very focused on his owner, so needs a home that will be patient & let him come to them at his own pace. He loves the outdoors.
China - Stockport
China is 7yrs spayed but not vaccinated. China is good with older children and cats and she ignores other dogs whilst out on walks, so she would prefer to be the only pet or with another older calm male. China's favourite game is fetching. Unfortunately, she is not getting any exercise at the moment so will need it built up gradually however she has no health issues other than a little extra weight. She is wary of strangers but quickly accepts you and then presents you with her ball! China just wants a home where she will be a part of the family and enjoy lots of cuddles.
Joanna
Could you help give a home to this beautiful 10 years young spayed bitch called Joanna? Her owner has given her up since the husband left the home. She is a truly beautiful older girl who loves the play fetch and thinks she is a pup. She would be better with older children and no cats. She has been in rescue for 2 weeks now and seems medically fine.
Blade
Blade is a gorgeous 11month old long haired entire male. He has a fantastic temperament with the 6 other shepherds he is living with and the JR terrier. He does not like cats at all. He has seen horses and is very eager to see them closer so would need some training with this. Great with all people he has met including children from 9 upwards. This lovely dog now needs someone with GSD experience to take him on and put some training into him to realise his full potential. He needs lead work and socialisation outside the home as when on the lead he is very strong and will pull towards other dogs. Blade has the makings of a really super dog.
Heidi - York
Heidi, a light Black & Tan spayed bitch, has lived with young children and, some time ago, with another GSD bitch. Marriage breakdown has forced her rehoming. She is a friendly, attentive girl who wants to trust and please. She too is not enjoying kennels. Heidi is in the York area.
Aisha and Bella - Hull
Aisha and Bella are sisters who are just 4 years old. Our volunteer who assessed them says they are among the nicest dogs he has ever met. Both are spayed and very friendly towards people, including children. Since they were six weeks old they have been with their current owners in the Hull area. The owners are extremely reluctant to part with them, but new work commitments mean that they are being left for long periods and are not getting the attention and exercise they deserve. These two beauties MUST be rehomed together, which, given their great temperaments, should be easy for the lucky adopter.
Sasha - North Yorks
Meet Sasha she is a very pretty lady she is 6 yrs young she is spayed and is very good with other dogs, and the owner's grandchildren (all ages) she lives with cats and is fine with them too. She can be a little shy around strangers but has never shown any aggression She is house trained and in fact, uses a dog flap. Her own rescued Sasha from us awhile ago but sadly she has become ill and can no longer care for Sasha they way she should be, her walks are getting less and her coat grooming is the last thing on owners mind. So is there anyone willing to give Sasha a home she is at present in the North Yorkshire area.
Max - Wirral
Max is 1yr neutered and vaccinated. Max is a very energetic lad who is good with children of all ages, other dogs and strangers, he greets everyone with a sniff he is very well behaved, knows lots of basic commands is good on and off lead and can be left without a problem if given some toys or a kong to keep him amused. Max currently lives with another dog but at 7 they find Max too much so he would like another friend in his new home male or female as long as they have the energy to keep up!! He cannot live with cats. Max travels well, stands for baths and is a good boy at the vets. Max will suit any home and will be a fantastic pet.
Ben - Suffolk
Ben is a three-year-old neutered male. His owner died recently and he is now looking for a new home. He is a great family dog who loves to be with people and children, doesn’t mind other dogs but is not too keen on cats. He enjoys travelling in the car but is used to being walked on the lead only. He will bark when visitors arrive but soon settles down. He will be a great addition to any family.
