MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Bella
This lovely girl, is 8 yr old, spayed bitch, Bella. Microchipped, booster due now. Housetrained & good in the car. Bella is a nervous girl, who is wary of strangers & new situations. Bella gets quite anxious around other dogs, so needs help to overcome these issues. She likes having a bath & with people she trusts is loving. Cats no. Due to her nervous nature, we won't rehome with children.
Belle
Belle is a beautiful 5 yr old, spayed bitch. Vaccinated & microchipped. Belle travels well & is housetrained. This lovely girl is great with children, having always lived around them. Cats unknown. She is fine with other dogs if a little wary of small ones! Sleeps in the kitchen no problems. Is fine when left, doesn't chew or bark. Belle has good recall especially if there is a ball involved! Greeted our assessor like a long lost friend! Our assessor said, "Belle is a truly, lovely family dog....with a fun & loyal personality." What more could anybody want? Needs a new home due to owners circumstances changing, needs a home before 11th September.
Millie
This very pretty lady, is 4 yr old, spayed bitch Millie. Our assessor described Millie as "loves everyone & everything, full of life, a real gem." Millie is vaccinated & microchipped. Housetrained.Millie walks nicely on the lead & has good recall. Millie is good with other dogs, and fine with cats also. Loves children of all ages. Millie is perfect, apart from she hates to be left! She needs a home where somebody is around all of the time. A fantastic girl for any family.
Holly
Holly was found as a stray wandering the streets by a young girl on her paper round one morning. She kept her safe with her till rescue help came to hand. Upon arriving into rescue it was obvious Holly had been neglected for some time, she could not walk properly her claws had grown so long. She had mange and open sores on her back, and no fur. Holly's ears were badly infected. She was taken to the vets where she let the vet nurse do absolutely anything to her even take skin scrapings from areas of her body and face, and all she kept doing was giving the vet her paw. The vets love her. Holly has been treated by the vets for a couple of months and her ears and skin are healed and she is now ready to start a new life in a new home. Holly loves people and she has been fine with visiting children of all ages. She was fine with the dogs and cats at the kennels, she can be a little bossy with the other 4 dogs in foster, but they are not the easiest bunch to live with. We feel she would integrate with another social dog. Holly is 8 years old going grey around the muzzle and has a little chunk out of her ear. Holly has been spayed, is fully vaccinated till April 2011 and is microchipped. Holly is house trained and not destructive, she still needs to build up her muscle tone by regular exercise and gain a bit more weight. Holly travels really well. Recall good but will run over to say hello to people and dogs, a little strong on lead. Holly has quite a cheeky character and loves to paddle in her water bowl, play with the hose pipe and loves to paw buckets of water. A lovely friendly girl who deserves a nice retirement home.
Tyson
6-year-old entire male. Lovely temperament but will try to dominate other dogs sometimes. Has settled into his foster home with no problems however with other dogs. Has not lived with children but would be fine with older children. Being rehomed due to owner’s health.
Tasha
Tasha is 4 1/2 years old and currently in foster. She has never shown any toy/food aggression, has a good recall, and walks well on the lead. She is extremely affectionate and playful, and very quiet in the house, she settled in with the 2 resident male dogs quickly. Now, playfully competes with them for attention. Tasha loves chasing and catching balls, and jumping for frisbee's and also sticks to you like you glue, shes just a very sweet dog to have around. No health issues and she enjoys towel drying and the hairdryer after a very wet day, just a lovely girl.
Marlon
This cute boy is Marlon, approximately 2 yrs old and entire. Marlon was found tied to a fence with Brando, did their time in the pound & then came to us. They are both lovely friendly dogs. Marlon quite playful, fine with other dogs. Strong on the lead. Paid no attention to the cats at the kennels. Travelled well in volunteers car. A really nice dog. Would like him to be rehomed with Brando, as they are very close, but will rehome separately.
Brando
Brando was picked up with Marlon, and are obviously related in some way, as they are very alike. Brando is approximately 3 yrs old and neutered. A really nice friendly dog, not as playful as Marlon, but still good with other dogs. Seemed fine with volunteers 11 yr old son, and ignored cats & chickens at the kennels. Travelled really well in the car, in fact, he started snoring! Needs a nice loving home of his own now.
Samson
This very stunning man, is 9yr old, neutered male, Samson. Vaccinated & microchipped. Samson is lead trained & has good recall. Samson's owners have a new baby & another on the way, & Samson isn't coping well with this, as he has always been the 'baby'. Samson welcomes visitors to the house with a waggy tail & is generally very playful. Met cats when assessor walked him & he showed no interest at all. Samson will be a wonderful dog for any family with older children.
Zak
This stunning boy is 3 yr old, neutered male Zak. Up to date with vaccinations. Housetrained. Zak is a stunning long coated boy, who enjoys being brushed. Lives with children from babies upwards. Zak is strong willed & needs a strong handler. Pulls on the lead needs socialising with people and other dogs.
