MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Bruno and Rosco - terrible life so far.
Bruno & Rosco's owner has recently died, leaving them alone with a relative popping in each day to feed them. They are 5 yr old , enitre brothers, who have never left the garden that they live in. They sleep in the shed at night & have the run of the garden in the day. Its no wonder when our assessor went out they jumped all over her in excitement to see somebody. Not vaccinated. Not microchipped. Never been in a car, or walked on a lead. These 2 boys need to be rehomed together as that is all they have ever known & are close. The relative isnt sure which one is Bruno, & which is Rosco. Will make wonderful dogs for somebody willing to give them some time & teach them how to enjoy life.
Sandy
This lovely girl is with another rescue in Cambridgeshire. Sandy is approx 3 years old. She has been in 2 homes. The first home - she came to us because her owners were moving and couldn't take her with them. The 2nd had her for little over 6 months but as a family they were having issue with her and decided to bring her back. She has been fully Vaccinated and microchipped although I believe she hasn't been spayed. She has some anxiety issues with other dogs though reacts well in time with calm and stable dogs. Seems to approach people with caution, but not aggression, and once she is happy with that person she becomes very loving. Although she thinks if you are a weak person she can then become the boss. (This is what has happened in 2nd home.)She has a low prey drive and does not seem very interested in cats. All in all a really lovely girl wth a good personality.
Saffy
This beautiful girl is 13 mth old Saffy. Has had 1st vaccination, not microchipped. Saffy has had a mixed up life so far, spending a lot of time in a crate. Has lived with other dogs no problem. Saffy is currently living with 2 cats, but would probably chase them given the chance. Fine with children over 9 yrs old. Saffy hasn't been socialised, so everything is quite scary. Needs confidence building. A really gorgeous dog who would benefit from somebody around a lot to train her & integrate her into normal life.
Delboy
This handsome boy, is 5 yr old long coat, Delboy. A gentle and friendly dog, who lives with small children. Fine with other dogs on walks, cats unknown. Delboy is entire and vaccinated. Does pull on the lead, has good recall, knows basic commands. Our assessor described Delboy as 'not nervous, nor aggressive, just a beautiful friendly dog.' Will make a super dog for any family.
Wolfie
This very handsome boy, is entire male, Wolfie. Originally came to us as a stray. Wolfie is very stressed in the kennels. Greets all kennel staff & our assessor with lovely, friendly waggy tail. He is nervous around doors but is improving. Approximately 12-18mths old. Wolfie needs somebody to build his confidence.
Beany
Beany came to us because his owner faced eviction if the dog was not removed from the rented premises. He is a calm, friendly 3-year-old, who loves just pottering about and doesn’t seem very interested in other dogs. He has lived with children and been fine with them. He is house trained and is fine when left. Currently in kennels in North Yorkshire, where our priority is to get some weight off him through a proper diet and exercise.
Tyson - the boy is BIG!!!
Tyson is 24 months old he is in foster home at the moment and very much loved he has settled in very well .With the foster's two other dogs. But I must say he has been taught no manners, but is learning very quickly, he has no recall when let off his lead and will try run away. He did pull on the lead but now walks nicely on a harness. He did try to be top dog when he arrived he still would like to be and he is now pushing with owners male boy who is of similar age, he is fine with the bitch for this reason he need to be an only dog or with a sensible female. He is very loving but he will need to be homed with someone who has had experience with this breed. Because of his size we will not home where there are small children as he could knock them over her has not been around children. He does not like cats and would more than likely chase poultry. He is castrated, but only very recent, this could account for why he would like to be leader. As far as we are aware Tyson has never shown any aggression towards any one, Although he is now showing a little food aggression, hopefully this will be sorted.
Buster
This boy is in URGENT need of a home, his owner has had to leave and now Buster is in the home on his own. Family members are walking ,and feeding Buster but he is living alone.. He is getting stressed and we need him into a home NOT KENNELS. Buster is we think around 5 yrs young, he is a short coated neutered( well volunteer couldn't find any) male he has lived with children from the ages of 18 months, 5yr & 7yrs so he is fine with them. We are not sure about cats. Our volunteer took Buster out and he didn't seem bothered either by her dog or people walking by.Buster can be touch all over and isn't bothered. He was a little protective when she went into HIS garden with her dog but nothing to worry about. Is there any one who would give this loveley boy a home. I will be glad to talk in depth to get him a home .
Sheba
This is Sheba, not much know about this little lady. She was found wondering on the M1 picked up by the dog ambulance and taken to the local pound. She spent her 7 days and we were asked if we would take her. She is a very small bitch, black and tan, her age is unknown but has greying around her muzzle. Our volunteer went to assess her for me has couldn't leave her. So at the moment she is his care with another male GSD that he adopted from us. His daughter has named her Sheba, she is both fine with the daughter and the other dog. This was taken the same day she was taken home, she sure looks at home. We would love to see her homed soon as our volunteer can only keep her a very short time. We don't want to send her into kennels if possible.
