Jake

Jake is a short haired 4yr old entire male who has lived with cats but needs to be watched.  His commands are good but he can pull on the lead.  He loves treats and responds well when given them for training. He shows no food or toy aggression.  He has suffered in the past with ear trouble so that will need to be watched and checked regularly

Sadie

Sadie is a 5-year-old unspayed bitch.  She has had little socialisation with other dogs so does chase them but is good with children and people and wants to play with them. Sadie does pull on the lead and would benefit from some training and has no road sense. Sadie is being rehomed as she is stuck in a small flat and the owner is suffering financial difficulties. A lovely little girl that needs a home to give her what she deserves.

Skye

Sky is a 2-year-old unspayed bitch.  She loves to play with other dogs. She avoids children though so will not be homed with young children as she prefers not to be pulled about. She can be standoffish when she first meets people but soon comes round. Loves to play. Obedient but does pull on the lead. She sleeps in a crate which she is very territorial over. Needs an active and fun home.

Inca - At Risk

Inca is a 3-year-old spayed bitch.  She has not lived with children so we would only rehome with teenage children. She is nervous of other dogs and chases cats. Inca loves water. Inca has been to obedience class and is good on the lead. She is living with a smaller dog but they do not get on. The owner is moving and Inca must be out before then

Jenson

Jenson was picked up as a stray and is about a year old. He is an entire male who is very friendly with people and is keen to meet dogs and is fine when doing so.  Jenson is cheeky and playful and really quite a steady youngster.

Sasha and Sid kept in disgusting conditions

These 2 lovely dogs are 5yr old Sasha & 9 yr old Sid. Well, that's what the owners' relatives have called them, nobody knows their real names! They have been kept all their lives in the most disgusting conditions, in a dirty, damp cow shed, on the edge of the owners' farm. None of his relatives even knew the dogs were there until he died. Now we have until 3rd August to find them somewhere or they will be put to sleep. Both dogs are very friendly and gave our assessor lots of kisses & lovely waggy tails. Both dogs in ok condition, considering their living conditions. Never been to a vet, so not vaccinated or microchipped. Sasha doesn't appear to like small dogs, but they are both ok with large dogs. Both have chased livestock. Two beautiful dogs who deserve the very best that life can give to them now.

Ellie

Ellie is a 5-year-old unspayed bitch.  Ellie is currently in rescue in Poole. She previously lived with 3 children under the age of 10. She has never lived with another dog but seems ok with other dogs but not cats or small animals.  Ellie is a very friendly girl and walks well on the lead. She was removed from her home for her own welfare and would just like a loving forever home that can give her the love and exercise she deserves.

Harley

Harley is a 10-year young entire male. He is good with other dog, cats and children.  He has the most fantastic nature and is full of energy. Harley does need regular ear washing as he gets a build up of wax and did have an operation on one of his ears which is why he has the cute puppy flop one side. Harley also had to have an operation to remove his tail last year but all this just adds to his character. Harley is being rehomed due to a relationship breakdown. And urgently needs a new home.

Hannah

Hannah’s family are having to move into a retirement flat because of illness which means they cannot take her with them. Hannah is 8 years young and is spayed. Has not been with young children before and hates cats. She does live with another dog and is fine around dogs in general.  She cannot have raw hide chews or bones or she suffers from irritable bowel syndrome. Hannah is good on the lead. This girl is a loving, affectionate dog who loves people.

Amber - home alone

Amber is a  7-year-old spayed bitch.  She has not had much socialisation with other dogs in the last 3 years but used to be fine with them in the past. This is because Amber hasn’t been walked in the last 3 years as she pulls on the lead too much! She will chase cats and isn’t keen on vets. She is good with young children and likes people in general however is protective of her property. Once introduced to strangers entering though she is very friendly. Amber is being rehomed as her owner has had to move into a care home.
