MORE DOGS REHOMED>>>>>>>

Dylan- Essex

dylan young gsd

This handsome young man is 15 months neutered Dylan.  He has only been with teenage children but is good with other dogs and cats. Dylan needs a home that can give him plenty of exercise and training on the lead. He is only being rehomed due to a relationship break up.

Duke - Hampshire

duke german shepherd

Duke is about 8 years and is neutered. He is good with children of all ages and other dogs and cats! He is an obedient boy. Duke was taken in temporarily when his owner died, but their house is too small for the children and their own dog. He does have some old age ailments and needs to lose some weight. Can you give this poor lad the love and care he deserves?

Wolfie

wolfie german shepherd

Jenny and Wolfie were, until a week ago, living outside as a yard dogs on a farm. The dogs were taken in by a GSD lover and soon settled into his home alongside his 3 GSDs. Unfortunately, a neighbour complained and the council have demanded that the man has a week to rehome these two beautiful dogs. Wolfie is an 18month old entire bitch. She is black and a very pale tan, she is fine with other dogs and has grown up with children at her original home. She is quite nervous but has is becoming more confident daily from the care and attention of her current owner. She is a very friendly dog once she gets over her initial nerves. Wolfie needs an experienced GSD owner to continue working on building up her confidence. She is house trained.

Lulu - Essex

lulu gorgeous stray german shepherd

This young lady is about 4 years old and was found dumped in December and taken to the pound. She was due to be put to sleep there when we were told about her and took her into foster. She seems medically fit and has been fine with the other dogs in the kennels. Lulu, as she has been called, travels well and knows her basic obedience. Because we do not know her history, we will not rehome with young children. She was very excitable when assessed but probably due to lack of exercise. Can you give her a forever loving home?

Finley

finley gsd

Finley is 3 and half years, and entire.  He has been well socialised with all aspects of family life (apart from living with cats).  Good with children and other dogs.  His previous owners brought him to into another rescue due to a relationship split. Since being admitted on the 24th of Nov, Finley rapidly deteriorated in kennels and became thoroughly depressed and withdrawn.  He is now in foster care where he doesn’t really play with toys, but loves to be with people, and loves walks. He does jump up at you if not sure of something. He has no food aggression, walks nicely on the lead but can get spooked by loud noises, The first person to see this boy will take him home!

Lassie

lassie nervous gsd

Lassie is a gorgeous 2-year old, long-coated, unspayed bitch.  She needs firm but gentle management and lots of patience because she is a nervous dog who can sometimes become a bit aggressive when something frightens her or when she feels threatened.  When she gets to know you she is very affectionate and bonds strongly.  Good in the house, a fast learner and travels well.  She is up to date on vaccinations and micro chipped.  Lassie needs an experienced owner who can help her build her confidence and show her that the world is not such a frightening place.  She is currently in kennels in North Yorkshire, but a kennel is not the place for a nervous dog.

Snug - Bromsgrove

snug gsd

This adorable boy is Snug, entire male, 3 years old. The rescue he is with is saying that Snug is not coping in kennels and is frightened of virtually everyone, although he has formed a good bond with one of their animal welfare assistants. His owners had him from a puppy. Appears to have been well socialised with most aspects of family life, although is worried when unfamiliar people come into the home. Lived with 3 children, 11 years, 8 years and 7 months. He was brought into rescue when the middle child was diagnosed with epilepsy - they were described as 'inseparable'. Gets on very well with dogs - has lived with another male Staffie who he had a close relationship with (played well with and slept together). Although worried around unfamiliar people in the home, he is very friendly when off his lead with people he hasn't met before. Good recall, no probs with people / other dogs. Loves to play and is extremely affectionate with owners.

Mervin - Blackpool

mervin german shepherd

Are you someone special? Mervin is approx 7/8 yrs entire and vaccinated. This boy was on death row before he came to us, he is a lovely lad who loves meeting people, is good with other dogs, happy to be left for short periods and enjoys being bathed and brushed. Mervin is looking for a special retirement home to end his days, he has CDRM which is a neurological problem which has no cure. It is a disease which gradually takes over the back legs meaning he won't be able to walk. Currently, he is enjoying several short walks on the beach and loves chasing his ball. Mervin is very affectionate and deserves a warm bed and lots of cuddles to end his days. We need a foster or forever home for this golden oldie.

Sparky - Lancashire

sparky germanshepherd

Sparky is a 6yr neutered male, overdue his vaccinations who is good with children of all ages and is currently in foster care. Sparky was made to live in the cupboard under the stairs and hasn't seen much of life however despite all this he is a very loving dog with lots of energy. He will need further training to improve his lead and recall manners but is happy to be left for short periods. Sparky is good with other dogs but does bark, however, this is excitement, not aggression and his foster mum says he is calming down every day. This lovely lad will fit into any active home especially one with lots of cuddles.

Narla - Staffs

narla gsd

This is one of the saddest rescues possible. 9 yr old Narla & owner devoted to each other, but he has Parkinson's & can no longer care for Narla. This beautiful lady needs somebody to love her as much. She is in good health for her age. Travels well. Housetrained. Not vaccinated, the owner always used homoeopathic treatments. Narla is fine to live with cats. Not used to children & at her age, needs a quiet household. Narla is wary of men in hats/hoodies & will growl at them. She loves the hosepipe. Narla loves her food & is quite treat motivated. Not keen on other dogs but not aggressive. Good recall. Fine with people visiting, the owner has carers in & out all day no problem. Needs somewhere asap.

Sophie - Stoke on Trent

sophie older gsd

Sophie is 9yrs spayed good with children of all ages good with other dogs. Sophie sadly needs a home to retire to, she is very active and has no health issues. She is a little nervous but greets people well just a simple bark and then will come over to say hello, she has a good level of training, travels well and is happy to be left. Please consider an older dog this girl deserves a happy home just as much as the younger ones and is just wanting a home with lots of belly rubs!
