Benji - Norfolk

This handsome dog ,is 4 yr old, neutered male Benji. Not vaccinated or microchipped. Benji is a very loyal and protective dog, so will need an experienced owner. Not used to being around children. Benji is dominant with other dogs, so needs to be the only dog. Housetrained, travels well in the car. Walks on a halti. Benji is wary of strangers, but fine if introduced correctly. Would benefit from some regular exercise, and training.

Thor

Thor is a 9yr old, semi-longhaired, neutered male. He is fully vaccinated; microchipped and insured. He is good with children, cats and dogs. He currently lives with a 20-month-old toddler, 2 cats and several chickens. He is fine when left, is house trained and travels well. Thor is quite active and boisterous for his age. He is very friendly and walks well on a lead. He does have a skin condition that is managed by bathing in Malaseb shampoo every 1-2 weeks. Thor is currently insured with Petplan on a lifetime cover, this is transferable to the new owners. He also has a flea allergy so needs regular flea treatment to prevent him becoming very itchy. Thor suffers from a food allergy but this is controlled by a Burns food. Thor is being re-homed as his owner does not have enough time to give Thor the attention he deserves now that there are young children to consider.

Jake - Suffolk

Jake is a 3yr old neutered male. He is currently being left alone for long periods, not walked or groomed. Despite his lack of attention, Jake is a friendly boy. He needs an experienced owner who can go back to basics and teach him some manners and give him some guidance on acceptable behaviour. Jakes long coat needs a good groom. This young dog is desperate for a home where he will be loved and receive the attention and exercise that every dog deserves.

Bruno - Cambs

Bruno is a friendly 2yr old long haired neutered male. He is vaccinated and micro-chipped. He is currently living with other dogs but would benefit from further socialisation outside of the home. Bruno does not like cats. He responds to basic commands and is good off the lead with an excellent recall. He enjoys being groomed and is in very good condition. Bruno is a well-loved dog but his owners have lost confidence in him. He is a very loyal dog who can be a little protective so would benefit from an experienced GSD owner who can keep this in check.

Oscar - Beds

Oscar is a very handsome 7yr old, entire, semi long haired male. He is good with children, he lives with a 9month old baby. He is well socialised and is very good with other dogs although he doesn’t like cats. Our assessor described him as an extremely calm bear-like dog. He is a little wary of strangers in the home but is ok when he meets them elsewhere. He has been with his current owners since he was a puppy and is a very much loved dog. He is currently on treatment for an ear infection. Oscar’s owner is moving into a flat with no garden and is unable to take him with her.

Tizzy - Cheshire

Tizzy is 8 yrs spayed and up to date with vaccinations. Tizzy's owner has sadly passed away, she is a very loving girl who is a little overweight due to lack of exercise as the owner was poorly for a while but has no health issues and with regular walks which she very much enjoys and is still very active this will soon come off. Tizzy is good with other dogs of all sizes, we recommend older children in the new home because she doesn't need to live with younger ones but visiting ones would be ok and cats are unknown. She is very good with people, is happy being left for short periods and enjoys travelling especially for a new walk! Tizzy has a very good level of obedience both on and off lead, she would suit a retired person or a quieter family home with or without another dog.

Zoe - Manchester

Zoe is 6yrs entire and vaccinated. She is currently living with very young children, is good with other dogs but has never lived with cats. Zoe is a lovely family pet with a great temperament, who has a good level of training both on and off lead, is happy to be left for short periods, travels well and is a good girl at the vet's. She loves her walks, especially if you take a ball and has no health issues. Zoe is needing a new home due to a family member being ill, she will make a wonderful addition to any family.

Jet

4 year entire. Vaccinated. A lovely gentle dog who currently not getting attention or exercise he deserves. A bit of a softie when it comes to windy or wet weather but sure with proper routine overcome his fair-weather ways! Very good with other dogs not sure about cats and loves to play with children. Has good basic recall and training and seems a very obedient kind tempered dog.

Khan - Worcester

This absolutely stunning dog is 1-year-old Khan.  A gorgeous long coat GSD who has been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.  Although he currently lives with an elderly spaniel he is extremely vocal when he comes across other dogs when out on a lead so further socialising/training is essential, due to his size he would be best placed with teenagers and definitely no cats.  He is housetrained, travels well in the car.  Our assessor found him to be a gentle and inquisitive dog when she first met him, she said he walked well on the halti and was very obedient.  Khan certainly deserves a home where he will be given the exercise and stimulation a lovely, big dog like Khan needs.
