MORE DOGS REHOMED>>>>>>>

Layla

layla gsd

This is Layla, This young girl came to us as in her short life she had been passed about, bought by a young man thought she would be a hard status symbol she is not then passed to a member of the family who took her but unfortunately could not look after her due to his own ill health. Layla is now in a foster home with a volunteer. She is scared and learning to trust, she has a friend to help her Jake pictured with the ball (he was a rescue) so he is teaching Layla to trust and play she doesn't seem to know toys, she has been off the lead and is ok, she enjoys a swim too. So hopefully some family will take her on and we feel she will be a good family pet. Layla is not a large girl.

Indie and Enzo

indie gsd

enzo gsd

Litter Brother & Sister 8 yrs young. in need of re-homing due to marriage break up and now owners ill health. These two lovely dogs are up for rehoming through no fault of theirs. They are both neutered both up to date with vaccinations. They are fine with children. They don't care for cats. They have shown no aggression in their lives and our volunteer said that she couldn't fault them. They barked on the initial meeting but soon settled they take carrots as a treat. Enzo is the largest and Indie the female, but she is the boss!! They travel well in a car. It would be nice for them to be homed together but we only have a short time to find them a home so may have to split them up.

Khan - Bucks

khan gsd

Khan is a 3yr old boy who has lived with teenagers and older.  He is wary of other dogs as he was bitten by a Staffie.  He does have toy aggression which will need to be worked on as he doesn't like his toys being taken away from him. He also has a bad habit of barking at large birds whenever he sees them.  He does, however, love playing football in the garden or park.  He loves people and loves nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa after a busy day.  He will need a home who has good experience with GSDs and who are prepared to put some training into resolve his problems.

Blue - Southampton

blue long coat german shepherd

Blue is an entire 4-year-old.  He is good with children and other dogs but can be overfriendly sometimes. Blue currently lives with a terrier and 2 cats. He will chase the cats but does not hurt them. Blue will need some training as he does pull on the lead and his recall is not great. He does not chew but can suffer from separation anxiety when left.  Blue is a polite and affectionate lad who loves to play. This lovely lad is only being rehomed due to his owner not being able to exercise him properly due to a medical condition.

Arnold - Bridgenorth

arnold gsd rottie cross

This beautiful and friendly boy is 13 mth old Arnold aka Arnie who is a GSD x Rottie; he is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and micro chipped.  He currently lives with a 10-year-old child, 2 dogs, cats, rabbits and even rats; shows no interest in the horses or sheep when out.  Our assessor found him to be a lovely friendly boy, she took him for a walk and found him to pull a little if the other dogs were ahead but off lead he was perfect wanting to please and had excellent recall.  She was also sold by his fabulous character and fell in love with him because of his wonderful temperament.  This boy is sadly having to be given up due to the current owner's health and cannot give him the exercise he needs and deserves; he would suit an active home with children 10+ due to his size (he is a big boy!) and preferably with a bitch, please give him a chance.

Bruno - Preston

bruno gsd with epilepsy

Can you give this lovely boy a forever home?  This is big boy Bruno (aka Bruno Bear) who is 6 years old and is microchipped and neutered but his vaccinations are not up to date.  He is good with children 3+, is timid with other dogs but is fine once he knows them, will chase cats in the garden but ignores them when out on a walk.  Bruno suffers from epilepsy and this is under control with medication.  He knows his basic commands but doesn't always respond immediately; he loves to be cuddled.  Our assessor found him to be initially timid but when he settled he really was a joy.  Bruno is a much-loved dog but sadly needs a new home due to changes in the family's circumstances.  Do you have room in your home for this boy? Lots more about Bruno on our FB page

Odin - Devon

odin white german shepherd

This gorgeous lad is 7 years neutered Odin. He is good with children, other dogs and cats. He was living with 2 smaller dogs. Odin loves fuss and people in general. He can get car sick, though. Odin is only being rehomed because he chases sheep and will go deaf if off lead around them. Looking for a sheep free home, can you help this lovely lad?

Hamish - Bristol

hamish gsd

Good looking Hamish is seeking friendship with a view to developing a more serious long lasting relationship. GSOH loves walks in the countryside, good food, balls games, kisses and cuddles. Interested in learning more about Hamish - check out Hamish's profile

Poppy - Kent

poppy gsd

This little 2-year-old spayed dog has been through a lot in her short life. She can be very vocal when she first meets new people, but as long as she's not put under pressure she soon settles down. Very loving and playful once she trusts you. Needs to have clear guidelines on right and wrong as she will try and be top dog in the household. Has been living with an older male shepherd that has given her boundaries, but is not good with new dogs, however, once she knows them and does not feel threatened by them she is fine. Poppy needs an experienced home that has the time to spend on building her confidence and giving her further training. Not good with horses (will chase!!)
