MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Dave - Coventry
This is the lovely 17 mth old Dave who is a GSD x who has been neutered and up to date with his backs and is micro-chipped. Although he is not used to children he was well mannered with our assessor's granddaughter but it would be best to home with older children, is good with dogs but a no to cats. He knows his basic commands, is a little excited when someone visits but will soon settle. Overall he's a friendly dog who has to be re-homed due to his current owner moving home.
Lilly
This beautiful girl was rescued from the dog pound and due to be PTS through no fault of her own, other than being an abandoned stray. This gorgeous girl, whom we have named Lady, is totally wonderful in every way. She is roughly 9 years old but please do not let her age put you off. If a dog could have a sense of humour then she would be akin to David Jason. She has a very young heart and is extremely loving. She loves to wag her tail all day, she would make a faithful companion, she loves her cuddles and is very spritely when on a walk, she truly loves to play “fetch”. Lady is overweight but with exercise will wear off with exercise. Lady loves life and this shows when on a walk. She gets on well with other dogs and does not seem bothered by cats. She runs around happily like a puppy and has a distinctive glint in her eye when you throw a ball for her and happily returns it to your feet. Lady travels well. Lady sincerely deserves a chance to live the rest of her life with a loving family; she is very healthy despite her weight. She certainly does not deserve to be on death row but seriously deserves a nice comfy sofa to lay on and not sitting bored to death in kennels!
Alfie - Norfolk
Alfie is a 2-year-old neutered Collie cross. He is good with other dogs but has not lived with another dog. He is seriously kennel stressed and needs to find a new home very soon. He needs to be cared for in a home environment where he can get some attention and training. He travels well, his vaccinations are up to date and he is microchipped. This affectionate little chap desperately needs to find a good home and soon.
This our beautiful big boy Max
This is Max who is 10 years old and has been a working dog all his life. He worked for the prison service and then a private security company. He looks as if he has endured a hard life. Read more about Max
Oscar - Nuneaton
Oscar is a very friendly bouncy 2-year-old, gorgeous black and tan long coat.
Max - Nuneaton
Max was destined for the pound but we stepped in. Max is a male not sure if entire or not has too much fur to see, and was a little nervous about us having a feel. Lovely long coat black and tan, aged 5. We understand he is good with dogs, cats and people he has lived with young children up to 6 years of age. Has been used to being left for up to 6 hours is housetrained. A little underweight at 34.5kg. Nice looking dog, needs a bit of a brush-up.
Cleo - Cardiff
This lovely girl is Cleo, she is a very friendly example of a GSD. Our assessor arrived at her home before her owners and she allowed her into the garden without a care in the world. She is good with children of all ages, good with other dogs and presently lives with 4 cats. Cleo is not vaccinated or spayed; she will need to learn lead walking as with her present owner she does use a lead as she walks by his side at all times. She is very well behaved and trained. Cleo is 4 yrs old and is a credit to her owners; this has been a tough decision for her owners and one they are only taking due to an adverse change in their circumstances as Cleo is left alone too long and not walked so she has gained a lot of weight. Cleo will make a great addition to any family, she is staying with her present owners in Powys Mid Wales.
Zeus - Leftwich
Zeus 1yr old entire vaccinated who currently lives with two young children aged 3 and 6 and two cats he is also good with other dogs. Meets strangers quietly, good on the lead and has good recall without distractions but is only a baby so with training it will become stronger, he already knows the basic commands. Zeus can be destructive when left alone so would need someone around most of the day and be crate trained. He is not currently getting enough exercise for a dog of his age and needs an owner who is willing to put in the training at classes to keep his lovely soft nature and enable him to grow up into the wonderful dog he has the potential to be. Excellent family pet, can you provide Zeus with his second chance to be loved?
Roxy - Lancashire
Roxy is 4yrs spayed, tattooed and vaccinated. Roxy is a very loving girl who gets on well with children of all ages and other dogs, she does have a fear of black dogs but with calm socialisation will soon learn there is nothing to be afraid of! Roxy greets visitors in a very friendly way and expects a cuddle or two from you once you are in, she is currently being left alone for long hours and is fine. She enjoys travelling in the car and does so very calmly. Roxy has very good basic manners she does pull a little on the lead but is currently not getting very much exercise. Roxy has already been rehomed once but sadly due to illness is on the move again can you give her the forever home she craves?
Izzy - Manchester
Izzie is 2yrs good with other dogs but has never lived with one and good with older children. Izzie is good when left friendly with strangers and enjoys playing ball. She has good recall and good basic commands however she hasn't been in a car very often so will need a crate. Izzie will suit an older couple or a busy family as long as they are willing to further her training to keep her active and establish her place within the new home.
