Beau - Essex

Beau is about 18 months old and is neutered. We do not have much history on this poor boy who was saved from the pound. He is good with basic commands and likes treats and toys! He can be a bit noisy when you first meet him but then he just wants to be cuddled. A lovely tempered boy who gets on well with other dogs.

Stan Lee - Hereford

How this beautiful young boy came to be picked up and taken to the dog pound, we will never know. Stan Lee is a little wary especially of men but fine with people he knows. He was very stressed in the dog pound but he is now in foster and has completely chilled. He is a bouncy young dog is fine with other dogs, as long as they don't pick on him. He is now really fit and enjoys 3 big forest walks a week with the rest of the pack. As you can see, Stan Lee is a bit reluctant to go on his big walks!!!He would suit a very active home where he will get plenty of attention and exercise. He may be wearing this beautiful white fur coat instead of a b/t one, but he is still a fine example of a GSD. Someone is going to get a wonderful companion. Stan Lee enjoying a swim. Zac - Leicestershire

This lovely lad is big, black, hairy Zac who is a very fit and healthy 10-year young dog.  He greeted our assessor without barking, enjoyed a head rub and playing with his football.  He did pull on the lead initially but will settle quickly on his walk.  He is good with children, cats and dogs.  Zac appears to be in good health and is a very happy dog, he's, unfortunately, having to be re-homed due to his owner's ill health.  Zac will make an ideal companion for any household.

Zorro, York - comes complete with cape and mask!!

Zorro is a big, handsome boy of approx 15-month.  Recently neutered, he is a calm, easy to manage boy who loves people, walks well on the lead and learns extremely quickly.  He would be ideal for someone who wants to do agility or obedience work.  He’s one of the easiest dogs we have had in kennels, but he’s been there far too long and desperately needs a new home as he is loosing weight.

Ky - Cornwall

Ky is a lovely 7yr old spayed bitch who currently lives with 4 other dogs in a small property with a small garden.  She is not getting the exercise she needs due to the owners' poor health. She is good around children but will round them up if they become loud and over playful,  she is also good with cats.  Kys' commands are good on and off the lead but when meeting strange dogs she does bark.  She loves being the centre of attention and wants lots of hugs and strokes. It would be best if she can be rehomed with calmer older children and with another dog.

Oscar - Bristol

Oscar is a 5-year-old neutered male. Oscar is a very handsome dog but is going to need a very experienced owner. He has been allowed to rule the roost in his last home so needs an owner that can set the boundaries. Oscar loves to play ball and he has good basic obedience. He is not keen on other dogs and likes to be kept occupied as he is an active lad.

Sasha - Somerset

Sasha is a 4-year-old spayed bitch. Sasha was rescued as a stray in Spain at 4 months old. She is good with children of all ages and other dogs and lived with a male terrier. She loves people. Unknown with cats. Sasha has never been to classes but is very obedient. She can get itchy eyes which the vet believes is pollen related. Sasha’s owners are having to move and they are not allowed to take dogs with them. This girl will make somebody a wonderful companion and in the volunteer’s words, is a real treasure.

Chloe - London

Chloe is 2-3 years old and was picked up as a stray. She is described as being adorable and responsive although a little strong with other dogs, especially off lead. No cats. Can you give this gorgeous girl a loving home?

Pitash - Essex

This 5-year-old unspayed bitch is currently in a foster home. She was being left all day at home whilst her owner went to work. She was living with 2 cats and was used to having small children around that visited. She is not good with other dogs though as she was attacked when a pup in the park. This lovely girl will make someone a fantastic companion.

Max - Lincoln

This truly handsome boy is 3 years old Max who is fully vaccinated, micro chipped and entire.  He is good with children, currently lives with a 7-year-old, gets on well with dogs but unknown with cats but has been known to bark at them.  He travels well, is house-trained and is used to being groomed. He was a little boisterous when our assessor arrived but eventually calmed down but this would not be an issue if he was exercised more.  He is extremely loving and loyal and would make an excellent addition to any family.
