MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>
Zara
This pretty little lady, is Zara. Picked up as a stray, and we think she is around 2-3 yrs old. Zara is a little bit nervous, but seems friendly enough when she trusts you. Barks at other dogs on lead, but not aggressivley, in a more palyful manner. Zara needs building up weight wise and confidence wise.
Delta
Delta is a beautiful 2-3 year old, long-coated bitch who came to us from the pound where her time was up! Since going into fostercare, she has settled in very quickly and is living happily with an older GSD male and is great with the family's young son. She is responsive, is already walking to heel and has a good recall. She is housetrained and has been checked by the vet. However she weighed just 24 kilos when we got her! Her fosterers, in West Yorkshire, describe her as 'a wonderful dog' - someone is going become a lucky new owner.
Blue
This lovely boy is Blue. Approx 2 yrs old. Picked up as a stray we have no history on Blue. He is very friendly, doesn't appear to have any aggression in him, just a lot of excitement when he sees you. No food aggression. Fine being groomed. A really nice dog needs out of kennels.
Lexi
Lexi is 3yrs old, spayed and up to date with her vaccinations. Lexi went to puppy training classes and has good basic commands but would benefit from further training. She gets on well with other dogs however her owner hasnt been able to give her many off lead walks so she can be a little boisterous with them. Lexi gets on well with older children but finds it to tempting to not chase cats!! Lexi has come in due to a change in owners circumstances she is very loving and enjoys her cuddles. Is there a space in your arms and heart for this beautiful girl?
Freddy - utterly gorgeous
This is Freddy after his trip to the scare dressers!! Freddy first came to the rescue after he was picked up as a stray. He is around 5 yrs old, very loving and friendly boy. At the moment he is still entire which is where his problems lie as he just wants to have it away with anything and everything so the quicker we can get him castrated the better but this cannot be done in kennels. If ever there was a dog that had been let down its Fred so now he wants the best a home can offer. He would be better as an only dog just because of his over active amorous streak, loves people, hasn't seen many children as yet, seems fine with other dogs in kennels and at the groomers, cats not known. Travels well, loves his food and treats , really enjoys playing ball as he loves human company.
Shadow
This gorgeous 8 month boy is Shadow. He is entire . Shadow lives with 2 children of 5 and 13 and is good with other dogs. He has never met cats. He loves people and does not chew whe left and travels well in a car. He has been to obediece classes but as with any dog of his age training needs to be continued. He will pull on the lead at first but then settles. Shadow’s owner will be evicted unless we can get him rehomed quickly.
Nesta
This beautiful lady is 5 yr old, spayed bitch, Nesta. Described by our assessor as 'delightful', Nesta is housetrained & upto date with all vaccinations. Fine with children, loves to play ball. Nesta lived with a Jack Russell until recently, and is fine with dogs out on walks. Nesta does need somebody around most of the time, otherwise she gets stressed. Suffers from epilepsy, but this is controlled well by medication & keeping her weight down. A really lovely girl who needs a new home due to a change in her owners circumstances.
Max and Keira
Max (top) and Kiera (bottom) need to be rehomed together due to a relationship breakdown. Both dogs are 4.5 years old and long coated and are half brother and sister (same dad). Max is neutered and Kiera is spayed. They are both good with children of all ages, other dogs and cats! Both dogs have super temperaments and are very friendly. Max does suffer from mild epilepsy but this is controlled with medication. He also needs his ears checked regularly. They are strong on the lead and would benefit from some training
Ace
Ace is a 4 year old neutered male. Ace is a loving and friendly dog who has not had much socialisation with other dogs, but has been fine with foster mum’s. Ace is bed possessive and will need an experienced owner to get him out of this bad habit. This boy gets very excited about getting into a car but soon settles down. Can be strong on the lead but with a harness walks very well. He is microchipped and vaccinated. Can you home this handsome lad?
Harvey
Harvey is a 20 months old neutered puppy/teenager and fine specimen of a GSD. He was rescued from an irresponsible owner who had no understanding of GSDs and heartlessly had him booked at the vet to be PTS. Despite all the stress that Harvey has suffered his true nature has not been affected and he is a gentle giant and very trusting. He is intelligent and responding well to proper training in his foster home. He is very clean and calm in the house. He is good when left alone. If he is in the garden he will bark to let you know what is going on around, unless he is occupied with a game or a good bone. He is always ready to play and loves his toys, especially his ball. He walks well on the lead and in busy traffic. He can be strong and naturally cautious when he meets people and barks but responds to the same routine and calm training. Because he is a large puppy there is more to handle when he gets excited to see you and jumps up, or wants to play or sit on your lap for a cuddle. Harvey was attacked by two adult GSDs when he was a small puppy so his fosterer is working on his socialisation with other dogs but has high hopes that with ongoing training the dog aggression will be overcome. However, it would be best if he was rehomed as an only dog. He needs a confident and firm owner who will keep up the ongoing training but in return will be rewarded with a GSD who has a wonderful non-aggressive temperament and very endearing character.
Jazz
Jazz is a fine looking 5 year old German Shepherd. She is housetrained, non destructive, pulls on the lead, fine in the car, all right with dogs bigger than her, if smaller then look out!! Would best suit a family with teenagers. Jazz has come to us for re-homing as she has been become overprotective.
