THOR - LONDON

Thor is a young man just over a year old and sadly looking for a new home as the owners don't have anytime for him as they are expecting a baby.

Thor is an extremely nervous young boy and was muzzled when the volunteer arrived. She was advised this was so that he didn't bite himself. He slowly settled and took some treats . When the owners partner arrived Thor totally changed and became far more confidentand playful. The partner removed the muzzle and he made friends with the volunteer.

This lovely boy only gets about 30 minutes exercise a day and early in the morning when it is quiet. He lives in a busy part of London and because he is nervous he pulls, lunges and barks at people when it is busy. The owners have taken him to a field when its quiet and let him off lead and they say that his recall is good.

This young man was bought off gumtree at 12 weeks old, he had spoent those first 12 weeks living in a barn fighting for his food, so he does have a touch of food aggression. He went from that to a young couple in a crowded house in a busy area of London.

He used to live with a cat but anyone taking him on must understand that he would need proper introductions. It is not a given that he will get on with other cats that he doesn't know.

The volunteer feels that this poor boy has just not been exposed to anything. He doesn't understand how to be a dog. What he needs a calm confident home that  will see through his bluster put in some proper training and some structure in his life and we feel he will become a wonderful addition to the home. He would do well at agility, scent work or some other job

Please don't look past this boy, he REALLY deserves a good home at such a young age
