This stunning young lady is a Dutch herder X belgian shepherd who sadly finds herself back in rescue after a year.
Ziva is struggling in her present home with the resident lurcher, this is all to do with jealousy but the owner is concerned for the older dog.
The volunteer arrived and was greeted by an inquisitive Ziva who sniffed said hello and went back to her herding duties on the yard. Sadly having lived on a yard for the last year she hasn't been on a lead or off site so this will definitely need some work.
She will chase a ball but not release unless there is another ball or similar on offer. She is very food orientated which work well for trainig.
It is said that within the home she is a normal happy settled young lady as long as her humans are around.
The main issue is when the other dogs are getting attention, she will muscle in and want the attention for herself.
When Ziva arrived last year she was very fearful and scared. Any new adopter should understand that she will need time to settle and trust.
Are you a busy person or family looking for a busy lady to join you. Someone you can njoy working with and keeping busy....... if so this is definitely the young lady for you ...
She does need work and please research the breed as they are very different from a German Sheoherd, but can still be your perfect companion.
