Zeus is a typical young GSD who needs to have some boundaries and lots of socialisation.
Zeus is being rehomed as he has nipped and the young children so we are looking for a home with dog savvy children ages 10 years and up. He is a typical hyper energetic young man who can be a little over zealous when he wants to play or say hello. He has also learned that barking can get him more attention and hopefully what he wants, so he will need some training with this.
Zeus will show the typical GSD nipping when young children are playing or being noisey, he will need to learn that nipping and jumping up is not going to get him anywhere and that he is far more likely to get a lovely reward for staying quiet and calm. He has not has much in the way of socialisation and when on the lead will bark very loudly so work is needed here, however he ignores smaller dogs. He will need a home with no close neighbours or with ones who will understand the new adopter is training to correct Zeus from barking when playing or for attention. With an adopter who has a little GSD knowledge this beautiful lad is going to make a wonderful family member. It will only take a little work as he already has good basic commands and recall.
