Zena the Dutch Herder is looking for a new home as her current owners cannot offer her what she needs. She is 2 years old and not spayed, she will go home with a contract to get this done.
Although she currently lives with a dog she is looking for a home where she is an only dog and she isn’t suitable to live with cats. She is good with children and is currently living with a 1 year old.
Dutch Herder’s are highly intelligent dogs and Zena is craving an outlet for her activity and a workout for her brain. She’d thrive in a home where her abilities are put to good use, someone with an interest in agility or scent work (maybe even search and rescue). She is highly driven for toys but isn’t very good at giving them back, she doesn’t guard them from people she just doesn’t like to let go!
She is responsive to commands and already has good basic obedience. She has chewed the house a little when left but this is likely to be down to lack of mental stimulation. Her current family exercise her for a long time everyday but it’s her brain that really needs the work.
Zena has a lovely nature but just isn’t getting all she needs in her home. If you are looking for a dog to join you on your adventures and maybe get involved in some dog activities she is the one for you.
