This lovely young lady was bought into the country and by her adopters from Dover. She was not what they were expecting. When she didn't fit in to their lifestyle the owner put her for sale on a Pets for Homes website saying their circumstances have changed. This is where her present owner found her, she went to see her and worrying that something was not right decided to take her. She was underweight and her present owner felt that she hadn't been walked.
Her present owner has done an awful lot for little Zeeta, her only experience of dogs is her father having one. Zeeta was very wary of everyone especially men. She has formed a bond with her owner and if it wasn't for a career change she would be keeping her.
Zeeta is very wary of guests to the home, interested but not confident enough to get too close. She would need time and space to adjust to any new situation and trust. One she has gained your trust she would love to spend time with you. She loves human company, at present sleeps alongside the owners bed and at her desk when working. She has an established routine to help her nervousness.
She has been introduced to wider family and there have been no issues with the children. She has not lived with children and as she is so nervous we would look at older children only who will respect that she needs calm.
The volunteer feels that Zeeta is an easy adoption once trust is gained. She will not wonder into the home unpack her bags and say Hi I'm here. She will need a less is more approach until she feels comfortable in your presence.
