Flo was rescued from a yard.

This lovely girl was owned by a scaffolding company and kept in a yard as a guard dog with her mother. She is not much of a guard dog!

Lovely Flo - 4yrs Cambridgeshire

Flo was kept in a yard with her mother in terrible conditions. She has very sore skin and had lost her fur underneath because of an allergy to the straw that was used for her bedding.

According to the vet reports, the company that owned Flo had not complied with her treatment or the recommendations made by the vet to ease her discomfort. Seemingly they chose instead to let her suffer.

The company that owned Flo were not prepared to pay any more vet costs and if we couldn't rehome her they were going to have her put to sleep. Her problems and suffering were as a direct result of their negligence.

We have rescued Flo and she is safe in a foster home but she does now need a permanent home. She is a friendly girl and will make a rewarding family pet. Flo is great with young children other dogs and we think OK with cats. She isn't much of a guard dog though as she is too soft.

The company still have Flo's poor mother!
