WONDERFUL WINTER
I have not referred to Winter as 'wonderful' lightly. She is a sweet girl apart from one serious issue. This is the reason for her rehoming. Winter lives happily with two other family dogs and is loyal to her pack. Outside, she is not dog reactive either. But she has developed an aversion to the family shih tzu. She has attacked her twice now and they must be kept separate for the safety of the smaller dog. The situation is untenable. I have queried the possible reason for this, to be told that the owners are mystified. They can only wonder whether Winter is disciplining the shih tzu for yapping so frequently. One can understand this.
Otherwise, Winter will make an ideal family companion. She has a tendency to be a little nervous and may take time to settle. But she is otherwise an all-round well trained handy dog. She travels well and visits stables daily with her owner. She is good off lead around the horses and other dogs. When walked by our assessor she was unfazed by work men with tarpaulin and wheelbarrows, children on scooters or traffic.
Who could resist wonderful Winter?
