Winnie - West Midlands

What a blank canvas this 3 year old girl is. Sadly put into kennels in July due to her owners illness and now the decision has been made that Winnie would be best to find a new forever home as her female owner is no longer able to care for her.

Our volunteer witnessed Winnie with her female kennel maid, lovingly playing and enjoying cuddles. When he was introduced to Winnie she was a little wary and took a while to say hello but then she was happy to go for a walk. On the lead she will need more training as she does pull. As regards as to how she behaves in a home environment, we dont know. All the kennel can report is she is fine and copes well with her surroundings. Currently she is played with and exercised on her own, so again cannot comment on her behaviour with other dogs, or how she is out in the real world.

It is always the saddest of re homes when the original owner is not around anymore and it makes rescue so worthwhile if we can give Winnie a second chance at finding a new forever home. Please get in touch with your Area Co Ordinator, if you think you can help.
