Willow has just celebrated her 7th birthday and sadly looking to be re homed as family circumstances mean Willow isnt getting the attention she deserves. Willow is fantastic with the children in the family, so gentle and patient. Outside she walks to heel off lead but gets stressed if dogs come too close to her, although with careful introduction she can walk well with other dogs. Willow was taken out by our volunteer and saw a few dogs 30 metres away and although aware of them didnt react at all. Willow loves the water and swimming, she is also great at scent work. Willow is a typical shepherd in that she can open doors so new owners need to be aware of this skill. Willow is currently on a diet as she is a little overweight due to lack of regular exercise. Going forward this gorgeous friendly girl will make someone a very happy owner as long as they have the patience to do a little bit more training and offer Willow more exercise and stimulation.
