Max is such a friendly boy, but he despoerately needs out of the home he is in as he is only existing not living the life that he should.
Max was purchased as a 5 month pup from a breeder, when he was about 8 months old his owner upped and left him. The now carer of Max has done her best and loves Max BUT he is not getting exercised and has not been tought anything in his 3 years.
The volunteer found Max to be totally over the top in his excitement to say helloo. He constantly jumped up for attention. There is absolutley NO aggression , he is just a coiled spring needing mental and physical stimulation.
He does live with an older dog but is unsocialised out of the home. This means that he will need slow careful introductions but he has such a lovely temperament we do believe that he will be fine.
Max has never been let off lead. The volunteer took her dogmatic as Max could have been extremely strong on the lead in his excitement to get out of the house. He didn't particularly like it but eventually settled and had a lovely walk. On return to the home he had a drink and for the first time since they arrived he settled down.
Max does have a fetish for stealing things ....... he can open doors and cupboards and will help himself to what is inside.
We have been advised that Max has lived with 3 cats but this is unseen in his present environment.
If you think that Max is for you please be aware that he does need work, he needs consistency and boundaries as a first. With regular exercise and mental stimulation we are sure that he will settle and calm and become a most loyal companion.
He will definitely be worth the effort
