Ben - West Midlands

Ben - West Midlands
This handsome lad has been taken into urgent temporary care by a local shop owner as the person looking after this dog was no longer able to keep him due to accommodation issues. Not a lot is known about Ben other than lived in a flat, good around people and other dogs. In his temporary home Ben has settled really well and living quite peacefully with another dog, although he does grumble over who has possession of a ball (may need work going forward). He is being well fed and walked and already appears to be looking a lot brighter and happier. You can still feel his ribs, back bone and his fur is quite matted. Fortunately Ben will be going to the dog groomers and from a recent visit to the vet for a check over nothing too untoward was found except a small lump under his tail that vet recommended was removed when castrated. Ben appears a very gentle soul and already very closely bonded with his temporary dad, he is taken to the shop every day and appears to be very sociable to customers and doesn't react to meeting strangers daily. Ben truly does deserve a new home and some well earned TLC. Ben doesn't have any vaccination records or a microchip. He isn't known with children but from his demeanour feel he would cope around older kids and doesn't seem to phased by cats either when out on walks. One truly gentle soul is our Ben!
