Wendle is a 6 year entire male. He is a big strong boy, fit and healthy. Wendle was living on a smallholding but was brought to us as he had started showing aggression. Hardly surprising as the son, who was in his early 20?s, continually provoked and teased Wendle. With confident and calm handling he has been fine since being in kennels.
Wendle is a very confident dog although slightly aloof. He is a very alert but quiet dog. Wendle will be very loyal to his owners who will need to be experienced with German Shepherds, but will become protective of them and his territory.
He is not keen on other dogs and we would not re-home him with children due to his protective nature. A home with minimal traffic in and out, in a rural setting with land would be Wendle?s dream home. He will need confident owners that can get the balance between him thinking he is his own boss without pushing him to hard. He is currently in the Bristol area.
