This lad is 4 and entire. Weller we are told is a man’s dog and whilst protective of his female owner, cannot be controlled by her. Weller’s problem is allowing strangers into the house however having grumbled at our female volunteer, took food from her and then laid down and looked away. Introduction with our volunteer’s male dog was in the same manner. Our volunteer feels that Weller is slightly confused of his role in the home rather than an aggressive dog and whilst we would not rehome him with children, just needs an experienced and confident home that can firstly give him the space to settle and then work with him and provide him with the leadership he needs.
