This older girl was found abandoned by another rescue in Macclesfield, Windy Way and they have taken her in and looked after her whilst she finds a foster or forever home. Although Vonnie was promoted to try and find her original owner no one sadly came forward. Vonnie spends her days at the rescue and has volunteers who regularly walk her around the grounds and she responds very well to all human company, however Vonnie is not happy when other animals are around her and prefers to walk alone. On the lead she is good and enjoys her walks. Vonnie has been to the vets and is on permanent medication for arthritis - this has been helping her keep mobile but she still shows stiffness in her joints. Windy Way are urgently looking for a foster carer to give Vonnie more one to one attention, somewhere they can give her a retirement home where she can be a wonderful companion and be the only pet.
