This gorgeous young man is Vinnie and at a mere 10 moths old he is sadly looking for a new home.
Vinnie feels the need to protect his present owners and they are struggling with this behaviour. It makes them anxious when they take him out and inturn Vinnie feels the need to step up.
The volunteers that went to visit Vinnie thought that they would be meeting a werewolf but were pleasantly suprised to find a young man who was wary but once in the home seemed to be happy to say hello. He does get excited and jump up but doesn't nip. He didn't bark when the volunteers knoocked on the door.
The volunteers walked Vinnie out on a headcollar and he was very well behaved. He is reactive to passing cars and they didn't meet any other dogs. Vinnie is not walked daily as his owners get too stressed about his behaviour. They do hire a secure field a couple of times a week so he can get a good run. He has never been let off a lead in an open park.
Whilst Vinnie lives with a small dog he is quite reactive when out of the home. This is more likely to be down to lack of socialisation rather than true aggression.
Vinnie really needs a calm confident home that can show Vinnie how to be a dog. He is a beautiful young man that at such a tender age can be turned round in the right home..... Is that home yours ?? If so please get in touch
