Well hello there, this is Uncle Tom, a name given to him by his lovely foster mum.
We were alerted to the plight of Uncle Tom by a rescue in Cyprus and when we saw the pictures of this poor boy, we had to offer help. So Uncle Tom got himself a passport and booked himself onto a flight to Bristol where he was met by a GSDR volunteer and then picked up by his foster mum and dad
It was thought that this dog was an old boy because he was in such a state and that we would be looking for a nice quite retirement home for him.
Well just see what a difference a couple of weeks make. It turns out that Uncle Tom is quite a young champagne coloured male, probably with a bit of Great Dane in there.
Although he has had a bad start to his life he has settled in to foster care with all the other dogs, cats, and not forgetting the hedgehog. Uncle Tom is desperate to love and be loved by his new owner. His foster mum cannot fault his temperament, he is very gentle.
With the right person he is going to make an excellent companion and he will be a good fun dog to have around.
