Tyson - Conwy

Tyson - Conwy

This handsome chap is Tyson who is a 5 year old, long coated entire male.

This big fluffy boy greeted our volunteer with a big waggy tail, welcomed her into his home and was keen for a big fuss. He is a very affectionate boy who wants to be with you and is not coping now because he is being left for long periods because of a change in his owners work patterns and because of a move into a flat. Previously there had always been someone at home with him and he had a garden which he had access to.

Tyson is a large dog who is slightly overweight which could be due to the fact that he is not getting enough exercise now. He is in lovely condition, his owner says he loves being brushed and bathed. His coat was very shiny, his teeth and ears clean but his claws get a little long because he is not currently walked on hard surfaces.

Tyson is used to young children and is fine with other dogs and previously lived with a Yorkie. When out on the lead he pulls to get to other dogs but he is just pleased to see them and wants to say hello. He will chase cats that run but if they stand their ground he is OK with them so would probably live with a confident cat.

He is OK in the car for short distances but tends to be sick on longer journeys and needs travel sickness pills.

Having to rehome Tyson has been a very upsetting decision for his owner as they adore each other but current circumstances mean that Tyson is not getting what he really needs.

Tyson will make anyone a wonderful companion and loyal friend, he is an amazing example of the breed.
