Trixie is only 15 months old, a typical bundle of energy. She currently lives with another placid shepherd and they have use of a dog flap during the day to get in and out of the garden (whilst owners are at work). Sadly this isn't enough time and attention for Trixie and she can amuse herself by barking during the day which is upsetting the neighbours. Our assessor met Trixie who he found a delightful young girl who still has puppyish ways such as jumping up when she first sees you and she can have a little wee with excitement. Trixie can pull on the lead and if loose she can tank off to explore and not have instant recall (far more interesting things to see and investigate off the lead)! Trixie is good around children (though with her bouncy ways would advise older children only). Trixie will make a great family dog and would blossom within a home where they are active and enjoy long walks and they are around to give this girl the attention she so craves. Trixie is okay living with her own cat but does chase them when seen outside.
