Tommy - West Midlands

Tommy - West Midlands
This handsome lad is looking to be re homed due to owner's ill health. Tommy is a much loved family dog and greeted our assessor well and happy to have a fuss (albeit he got a bit giddy and started jumping up). He was taken for a walk (which he hasn't had regularly) where although obviously glad to be out he was pulling but amenable to correction and our assessor thought shouldn't take long to get him back into a routine. Whilst out didn't meet any other dogs but we are told Tommy can be reactive, although he appears to tolerate smaller dogs better - again with more socialisation and correction Tommy should be fine. Tommy is good at the vets, was used to travelling in the car but over the last few months has not been out and about. Tommy lives outside (though has been in the house until recent months). Our assessor took the time to brush Tommy, he had the odd grumble but overall thoroughly enjoyed the fuss. Tommy is a lovely dog who needs to find another home where they can get him back into a daily routine and out on the walks he used to love.
