This is a very urgent rehoming
Timba is a very handsome 7 year old entire black and tan long coated male.
He is used to very young grandchildren, he is good with other dogs and has lived with a cat.
His owner has just started a job working away from home and he has to work away for two weeks at a time. Timba is being left day and night alone without company.
The daughter pops in first thing to feed him, he has the conservatory for shelter, she then pops in later to feed him again and this is the only human contact he is getting until his owner returns home again every other weekend. Timba gets no exercise whatsoever other than being let into the garden. This poor dog must be climbing the walls with boredom.
Our volunteer found him to be a lovely friendly boy who took treats nicely. Timba also loves a cuddle.
The owner was considering putting Timba to sleep because he didn't think a rescue would take an older dog. Timba is only 7!
