THUNDER - ESSEX

Sadly Thunder is looking for a new home through no fault of his own.

At 6 years old he spends most of his time in the garden. He has a crate in the utility room but it is totally covered. He has never really lived in the home.. this doesn't mean he can't.

We feel that he would benefit from liviung as a family member. He loves people and craves attention. He is just such a happy boy and so pleased to see you.

We would look for a home with older children who have an understanding of large breeds. He has not lived with children.

The volunteer took Thunder for a walk on his harness, but also used her slip lead, which he was very respectful of. She met cars lorries bikes and other dogs. She stopped to chat to the owners and kept a small distance from the other dogs, but Thunder was amazing and didn't react. The volunteer felt that he could do with a little socialising but on the whole a lovely all round happy boy.

His one issue is that he is diagnosed with EPI  Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency in Dogs and Cats - Digestive System - MSD Veterinary Manual. We have had many dogs in rescue with this disorder and with the right diet and enzymes they can continue to live a full and happy life. We have lots of experience and can help with this. Please don't let it put you off.

In short a delightful boy who deserves so much more than what he has.
