This youngster has been found as a stray and finds himself safe in rescue in Cheshire. Having visited Thor I found him to be a very friendly but unfortunately a dog who has never been trained or walked on a lead. He is very happy around people and loves a fuss and can be easily touched all over, however put him on a lead and he has no idea what is being asked of him and will definitely need continued training. Thor appears to have no concept of what is being asked of him and loose in the exercise yard he was running around corner to corner but a) as he doesn't know his name and b) as he obviously hasn't been previously trained he has no reaction to recall and completely ignores the handler. Thor is also a typical shepherd in that he is very vocal when he sees another dog though within the kennel environment he has happily settled with another dog so with proper introductions Thor should be okay. Thor will need an experienced home, someone with patience to get him to focus on the handler. As a stray no history is known of his previous life so an adult only home or at least teenage children residing within his new home would be preferred.
