Here is Theo, a big strong neutered boy who is 9 years old. He has been with his current owner from being 3 months, and it is a great wrench for them to let him go. Unfortunately, due to a change in personal circumstances, they are no longer in a position to keep him.
On his assessment, Theo was found to be very friendly towards our assessors. He did not get overly excited, and did not bark or jump up to greet them. Theo is used to being around children of all ages. Our assessors were able to walk Theo, and although he pulled strongly initially, once on a shortened lead, behaved very well, Theo did need to stay on his lead as his recall is not very good; he does know the basic commands.
Although Theo will bark and pull towards other dogs, his owners feel this is because he is such a friendly boy and wants to play. He is good with cats.
Theo will benefit greatly from a routine of regular exercise and mental stimulation and further training, this will enable this lovely boy to become a great companion for anyone.
Can you give this lad the chance he desperately needs ?
