Tetley is only 11 months old and in need of finding an experienced owner who can deal with his behavioural issues, as sadly he is a nervous soul who is too reactive for his current family home. Our assessor was greeted by a highly charged barking lad who was muzzled, she requested the dog be let loose and the muzzle removed, Tetley immediately ran over to her still barking but once ignored he stopped and then came back for treats - he is very partial to cheese apparently! However during the assessment any noise sees Tetley reactive with a nervous jump, Tetley responds well to the male in the household and listens to his commands and indeed walks very well on the lead for him but because of Tetley's behaviour he is always walked somewhere quiet and never been allowed to interact with other dogs and if he sees one out on his walk he is vocal. Tetley has had a behaviourist round to assess him and the household use an adaptil atomiser/collar but as yet nothing has changed his demeanour. At only 11 months and with a patient, quieter home i.e. no children/distractions Tetley should improve but at the moment his behaviour to new sights n sounds is not good. Tetley is vaccinated and microchipped.
