Teddy is a very handsome boy who genuinely loves people and children and is used to living in a busy family home. Teddy easily gets attached to people and happy for a fuss and your attention. He
loves his walks and is okay on a lead but would benefit from further
training and will walk to heel reasonably well when commanded, but if he sees another dog then he can pull and is very strong. He spent some time at our assessor's home. She reported that he responds to basic commands and is typically looking for owner to command him. He enjoys playing with a ring and does retrieve. He is energetic and lively but does settle down. He travels well in a car. He needs a home with a grass area as his run, so that he can play and run freely. Teddy is a lovely boy who just needs a strong and commanding handler where you will find one very responsive dog.We are currently undertaking a further assessment in relation to his living with other dogs but at the moment, Teddy would probably be best as the only dog and with someone who is prepared to continue his training, set him boundaries and work to socialise him outside so he becomes more relaxed around other dogs. He will make a wonderful companion and truly is friendly boy who is delightful with people. He has a full pedigree and descends from working dogs and is 3 years in November 2013."
