This lovely boy Teddy is a 16 month old neutered GSD Cross. He has been returned to rescue as his adoptive home have said they can't cope with him so he is currently in foster, where he has adapted himself well to living with three other dogs. Teddy has a well balanced temperament and is a very loving affectionate boy. He is not destructive, not food or toy possessive and travels well. Teddy is intelligent and has a good knowledge of basic commands and is responding very well to ongoing training from his foster mum. Being a puppy/teenager he has plenty of bouncy energy and loves to play with toys and plays very gently. He walks well on the lead and in busy traffic. However, he needs to be kept on lead (a training line with extension) at the moment as he can be defensive when meeting other dogs out on walks. He will need a calm and firm handler who understands his age, will help him with his confidence and keep up his socialization training. Teddy is not aggressive in any way towards people but he has mouthed in the past and for this reason we are looking for a home without young children. Teddy would thrive with a couple or a family with older sensible children and in return they will be rewarded with a most wonderful and loyal companion.
