This smashing young lady is Gem who is an entire 2 year old black and tan, short coated girl who is sadly looking for a new home, through no fault of her own.
Our volunteer describes her as a wonderful dog who was a pleasure to meet. She greeted our volunteer with lots of sloppy kisses and a huge amount of fuss. She sat beautifully and gave a paw for some treats.
Gem has been brought up with 3 young children with whom she is extremely gentle and loving.
She loves to play ball and her recall is very good indeed. She does pull on the lead but we think that's because she is not getting out much.
Gem will make a fantastic family pet and companion for anyone that adopts her.
She is being rehomed bcause of a change in the owners circumstances and she is being left alone for very long hours which is not good for her.
Gem needs a home where they have the time to give her the exercise and attention that she needs and deserves.
Our Gem truly is a little gem and deserves the very best. Can you offer this lovely girl the home that she needs?
