This handsome boy is Sultan who is a 6 year old entire black/tan, short coated male who oiriginally went to the police for training but failed because he was too soft.
He is quite protective of his property as you would expect, he barks at passing strangers, he will chase cats, is a bit choosy about other dogs but has lived with a Belgian Shepherd.
Sultan is kept outdoors and has escaped several times by jumping the gate and fencing. He has never done anyone any harm on his little escapades but this is obviously not a good situation for Sultan.
All in all, Sultan is a beautiful people friendly dog who was brought up with very young children. He has never shown aggression towards people, the children or their friends although he can be a bit noisy when people first enter the property. His basic commands are good.
We suspect Sultan doesn't like his current outdoor situation and would much prefer to be an indoor dog with more interaction with his human companions and more exercise and mental stimulation.
