Max - Suffolk

Max - Suffolk
Max has had quite an upheaval in the past few months. His owner died suddenly so he was taken into emergency kennels. From there he went into a loving foster home where he was a complete gentleman and charmed everyone. It didn't take him long to be adopted but unfortunately it didn't work out for Max so he is now in another foster home. His current fosterer says that Max is a very loving lad and has his own brand of sloppy kisses that he plants on your ears. He has been known to nibble them too! Max loves company and follows his fosterer everywhere. He is crated when left and seems to enjoy the security of his crate. Max has great recall, as long as there are no distractions, but he cannot be trusted off lead around livestock. Max walks well on lead, no pulling, and has passed other dogs with a wagging tail. He does however go into protective mode when on a lead and has lunged and snapped at some people. He is a lovely lad who needs an experienced owner to keep him in check as he will take advantage if allowed. Max can be quite vocal-not a barker, but a talker! He enjoys travelling in a car, but is a fidget. Max is enjoying playing with lots of other dogs in his foster home and loves to play with tennis balls. His tail is always wagging and has a lot of love to give to his new owner. Can you offer this loving boy some guidance, security and most of all love?
