Storm is only 14 month old, he has just arrived at the rescue and is currently under assessment. He was a hand in, although was loved dearly. Storm was living outside and we understand hasn’t been socialised with the outside world. He is a big strong, bouncy boy and although very friendly, he clearly doesn’t realise the strength and size he is as he nearly knocked me over when I was in kennels with him, as he was very eager to play.
We are not sure what he is like with other dogs at the moment, although I would suggest he will need help with his doggie etiquette as he’s going to be a bull in a china shop. He knows his basic commands, sit and down… but I understand he is very strong on the lead.
Storm will need an experienced home and this is more about putting the time and training in, he will need boundaries set and someone who can divert all that energy and start giving him some mental tasks as he seems such a clever lad who is eager to learn.
