Here we have 5 year old entire Zac who is now looking for a new experienced home. Unfortunately the children Zac currently lives with are having a few scrapes around him and tensions are running high trying to keep Zac away from them. Our assessor was introduced to Zac on the lead (as told protective), she asked for him to be released and he came over and was extremely friendly and happy for a fuss, therefore in a calm experienced home we feel Max would blossom and benefit from more socialisation and lead training. Zac adores his dad and does anything for him, loves playing fetch and running free off lead, his recall is excellent. However due to Zac being bitten as a puppy he can be dog reactive so anytime a dog is seen in the distance Zac is put back on the lead, he doesn't seem to react to this procedure and indeed although not seen him close to another dog he didn't bark or create when seeing a dog across the field, therefore with more socialisation and a confident owner Zac would make a perfect companion, however it must be noted that he is a typical shepherd and likes to protect his home, though once introduced to you he does come over to say hello with no aggression.
