Starbuck is approximately 5yrs old. He is a neutered male GSD cross. He is a very handsome dog who has come a long way since he first came to the rescue. Starbuck was severely underweight and very timid. He has now gained both weight and confidence. Starbuck is great with children and like nothing more than to play ball all day. He is currently in foster care living with children aged 3yrs to 12yrs with older children visiting regularly. He is also living with other GSDs, with whom he has become firm friends. He cannot live with cats. Starbuck is a little anxious still when he meets other dogs out on a lead and can be quite vocal. He walks well on a halti and we are working on his recall. He is an extremely affectionate dog and loves a fuss, all he is looking for is a place to call his own with confident owners who will continue to train and nurture him.
