This beautiful boy is sadly looking for a new home due to some tragic circumstances. He doesn't have long to find himself a new home but whoever is lucky enough to adopt this lovely lad will feel like they have won the lottery.
The volunteer arrived to assess Stanley who was at the bottom of the garden seperated from her by a gate, barking his head off. She walked up to him and fed him some sausages and he stopped barking immediately. He was taken in to the kitchen whilst the paperwork was completed, where he eventually calmed down and lay between them.
Sadly Stanley is spending a lot of time on his own at the moment and his owner feels that he deserves so much more. His owner tries to pop in 2-3 times a day and Stanley has a dog walker going in to exercise him. The dog walker has helped with his behaviours out of the home.
Stanley lives with children and although a little boistrous he would be fine with dog savvy children.
Stanley is fine with other dogs. When out walking he does pull on the lead but not excessively and with a little work could be resolved. A dog was seen on the other side of the road and Stanley happily ignored it and carried on with his walk. His owner tells us that he only really reacts to small dopgs if they bark at him and he will just bark back.
Stanley has lived with cats but please bear in mind that we cannot guarantee that he will be will fine with unknown cats.
In short Stanley is a lovely boy who is a bit of a young thug... said in the nicest possible way who doesn't have a nasty bone in his body. With a little work he will be a wonderful companion.
