Spike is a cross and desperate to find a new home where they can deal with his protective behaviour to strangers visiting. Our assessor was barked at constantly until Spike was put into the garden, he then quietened and just licked the door for entry. Poor Spike is great with the family he lives with including 4 children, but anyone out of this circle causes extreme barking and he will try to nip. This lad has only been in the home for a few weeks and they have tried to curb his barking (even with professional help) but sadly nothing has worked so far and they would welcome Spike going to a more experienced home. Spike is 12 month old entire, good on the lead, initially had great re call but now with his current behaviour not allowed off lead. He supposedly lived with 2 other dogs in his previous home, not known with cats. Spike has no toy or food aggression. Can anyone squeeze this little one in?
